I’m definitely encouraged to be trying this again for Summer. Do you recommend it used after steep, or would it be a nice iced tea, Userzero? I also have adapted to the taste quite easily. I figured it is because my taste buds know that flavor means I might feel a bit better soon. Just overthinking theory! Haha

im glad you like it! I wish I did! I mix it with anything I can use and stomach that will mask the taste. then again I bought a small self cap so I can take em easier at work and not taste it as much or have powder flying...then again never had a beer I 'liked' and gravitate more towards sweeter than bitter. if they made ginger chews with a k center now were talking!!!

don (aka triggerman likes It too.. im sure theres others out there!

Hello All,

I've never minded the flavor of kratom powder. I put it in a shaker with some water, shake it up and chug it down. Not a great flavor, but definitely not bad. I recently tried crushed leaf kratom, both Gold Bali and Red Horn. I made a nice tea from the leaves with no additives- no sugar, honey or lemon. Excellent effects with very fast onset. The flavor however was unexpected. Oddly, a bit different than the powder. Both strains made a bitter tea but in a good way. Very much like the pleasant bitterness of hops in beer. I kept searching my taste buds for something unpleasant but I couldn't. Just a very clean, stable, pleasant bitterness. What do other folks think about the crushed leaf tea taste?

Cheers!
