Just checking, how are you, Newmexicokrato?
How’s the project going (finding right vendor/strain/etc)?

Thank you for checking in. I'm doing alright. Still figuring it all out, found a green Asia that is doing well for me at 1.5 grams. Sticking to that for the past few days and I'll try a new strain out later on today. Trial and error but also keeping a journal is helping. Low doses, staying hydrated and putting alot of time between my doses as well. Thank you and MadMax for being so cool to me on here.

Cool update. You’re right. Trial and error. People today are quicker at finding the right mix for them. I think it took me over a YEAR, and then batches change due to Indonesian weather conditions and then we START OVER AGAIN.

Hopefully, like many of us, you’re noticing enough benefits to stay the course. Not everyone can stick with it long enough to be RELIEVED and AMAZED.

We’re pulling for you!

Thank you so much! Have you ever dealt with pressure or tension headaches from kratom?

Yes. Getting used to the powder took time and had them then. I kept increasing my dose as much as I could stand, then backed off shortly after that. Having built a tolerance helped.

The other thing that helped was electrolytes as I’m always dehydrated now. May have been dehydrated before and didn’t know it. My sodium has been low since I’ve been a regular user - not sure if it’s related.

It’s no walk in the park to figure this stuff out.

Many a folk decide to continue tolerating stigma and worse to stay on pain pills after we explain the work involved, instead.

Some are probably in too much pain to even consider a plant (in this way).

Those it helps, find it helps MUCH MORE than meds and there are no impairment side effects, so WE CAN DO MORE. In many cases we can get MUCH BETTER/healthier as a result of improvement while using the leaf as a tool.

Newmexicokrato wrote: Thanks Laurie! I drink a liquid IV with at least a gallon of water every day, but I think I might start putting 2 in my gallon jug for even more electrolytes. I'm trying 1 gram doses instead of my 2.5 to 3 gram doses. Hopefully with the extra electrolytes and low doses I can figure this out. If it persists at that level, I think I'll just have to stop taking it, but it will be easy at that low of a dose.

If you are drinking a gallon of water a day (in addition to other fluids like those in food, soups and beverages) you might be over hydrated.

Too much fluid will cause an overall net loss of electrolytes. Electrolytes exist in ratios in the body...too much of one can cause symptoms of too little of another even though the actual amount in the body is in the normal range.

Just another thing to think about - like you do not have enough on your mind already!

I so appreciate someone asking about Headaches! I, too, get headaches, especially when I wake up, after taking a dose before sleeping. Depending on the severity of the headache, I take an excedrin or an imitrex (meds for migraines).

I’ve experienced maybe 3 noticeable Kratom headaches since I started my Kratom regimen( little over a year ago), looking back on those times , for myself I knew I had drunk lots of Yerba mate and hadn’t eaten enough food , did not drink much water.... fluids are great but for me I need that water,

I agree with bomaley..about drinking to much and diluting the electrolytes in your body, I sometimes add a little bit of sea salt to my water and juice from 1/2 lemon , very nice combo....

Also my own experience in conjunction with the above factors is too big of a dose... I try and keep it consistent and if I need a bigger or more frequent dose/ dosing.. I drink a glass or two of water after I dose

The bare minimum I shoot for is drinking half my weight in fluid oz.. for example: if you weigh 120lbs .. drink 60 fluid ozs of water through out the day, could be more or less depending on activities etc, just a figure i keep in mind to gauge my water intake

Headaches ain’t cool, wish you luck figuring it sooner than not

Ps Life with the leaf and no prescriptions is the best I’ve felt in years, everyone just has to consider biochemical individuality and adjust to find what works best

Salute

I suffered from headaches for my entire life, even as a young child. I've spent thousands of dollars trying to figure out why with no success. I've spent thousands treating my headaches with varying but always diminishing success. I was desperate when I tried kratom despite all the propaganda against it. I was surprised at how well it works. I realized all the propaganda was just that. To my surprise, I realized that kratom not only stops my headaches, it actually prevents them! I rarely get headaches anymore. My life is 20 times better, not having to live in constant pain. I taking 8-15g a day, spaced out throughout the day. I don't always take enough to feel the effect, but it keeps my headaches away, which is why I started in the first place. The best Kratom from different and reputable sources is obtained from *UNAPPROVED VENDOR*which consists of crushed leaf products and Kratom powder. At *UNAPPROVED VENDOR*, they provide the best quality of Kratom online for those interested in ordering it. Kratom is here to be very active in improving concentration. It works as a target booster and the green and white strains of Kratom help to get rid of brain fog and concentrate on the present moment. Thanks, everyone, for making this sub so great. Everyone wants to help each other out. It has even motivated me to be more charitable, myself. Y'all are all awesome.*EDITED BY ADMIN* Please do not promote vendors not listed here for our safe buying assurance, Thank You*
