High five Sacred Brandon! Its nice up here atm. If you wanna come visit its like the best time of the year! Oh sorry, thats right the virus... i live on the road but mostly in the countryside and i tend to forget about the situation. No joke i can live my life sometimes for 4-5 days without having to put a mask on! Thats how far away everything is here

Yep its so sweet the way people talk about their pets!

Safety wise dogs are certainly fine as long as its dosed properly to avoid giving the woobles and have to furry friend trow up. Few weeks ago i was reading some study and it said mitragynine works on all mamals. If i find it again i'll share

Good night peeps and pets xx

The passion and love shared on some of these threads is so heartwarming. Without being a sappy Lifetime movie, lol

There are lots of cats (and a few dogs) that are bolting from their temporary evacuation homes (after escaping raging inferno wildfires like nothing seen before) with their families . Now the fires are heading UNDERGROUND in some areas..just awful)...

They are not familiar with the area and some dogs traveled for MILES before finding someone they deemed safe. So many lost and scared pets outside tonight, It’s really got me upset, so it really helped to look at this dialogue of loving opinions. What a cool buncha folks here. >:D :x >:D

These pets need any thoughts for finding safety that you can maybe spare...

Good morning Gibson ,

I respect your perspective and feelings on the subject , some others feel that given a dose adjustment with consideration to weight of the dog , I say dog because it’s still a unknown with giving kratom to cats, so I wouldn’t give this herb to cats until science proves otherwise that it’s safe . But in my own personal experience , kratom is a very friendly and benign herb , and when my family dog was limping for 5 consecutive days from a injured hip, the small amount I decided to give him on the 5th, 6th and 7th day made a huge difference in mobility.

I’d like to see more info given in this area . But the fact of the matter is that dogs are prescribed ( in many cases) the same types of medications humans would take in a similar situation. Opiates for pain, anti inflammatory meds , even anti anxiety meds . Based on this knowledge and starting at a very small amount , I felt it very safe to give Fido a little of this leaf that’s helped me with my chronic pain like nothing else ive taken has.

Again, I respect your feeling and thoughts on the matter , thank you for sharing :)

Unless your pet is at death’s door, please do not dose your friend with Kratom. We all know of the effects, and as adults we can weigh the issues, and there are issues, undoubtedly. Dogs and cats are really very excellent healers (sometimes good heelers too!), and giving them mitra is a recipe for problems.

CBD is fairly benign, kratom isn’t, and we just don’t know. Check with your vet, if money is an issue, contact your Humane Society for a low cost to no cost solution.

I've read of Chlorella being used to help dogs handle all the medications that they might be on. It can smell and taste a bit like cheese to a dog, so they will lick it off your finger, or not mid having some mixed in with their food.

Chlorella also helps bind to heavy metals like Lead and Mercury, and safely get them out of the body.

Small mounts only, and of course consult a medical professional before using it.

Thank you for sharing Luceysi

I’ve given small amounts to my family dog when he was limping for a couple of weeks , I could tell his pain was at a lower level and was able to heal better because of it . No issues I could find from the limited times I gave some to the pooch , only benefits gained. :)

Thank you again for sharing this story/ info with the community (L)

What a wonderful tribute and selfless attempt at offering a dog more quality of life. That’s been posted before and you’ve got some good link people gathering the “research” done in the field.

I found it to be a miracle for a dog. Disclaimer: Can’t say any more.
