Is it just me, or does Re-leaf's new system seem even MORE complicated than it was before? How is anybody supposed to find their favorites? Go down the line and order randomly until you get lucky? I don't know about you guys, but I certainly don't have the money for that. Any helpful suggestions?

I'm somewhat new to this forum, but yes I was very confused by their attempt at creating a more honest format. Very "outside the box" marketing. I just put my preferences is the comments box and waiting for their response via email.

How do you know what your preferences are though? It's all "phenotype" red, green, yellow, or white. It's definitely not easier. If anything, it's more confusing, and a little too risky. At least it seems that way, and I haven't heard anything to the contrary so far. Somebody on another forum mentioned just buying some of their old stock from a swap/sell, so I'm probably just going to do that.

I understand his point about how and why kratom has the names that it does. But to just order a Red type _
seems even more confusing and random.

I'm going to give it a try and I will report back what my experience was like and rate the product that I receive. Changing the language of anything important to us creates tension...look at what happened to Galileo! But he ended up being right and there was a better understanding of the nature of the universe.

I am hoping maybe a third party can interact with the clientele to help guide us as we adapt to the new system. Somebody not tied to Re-Leaf in any way. That way we can openly say what we want and we can be advised to try this or that.

I have no idea what a phenotype is, but I’m anxious to learn. Plus, they’ll also be constantly changing, so remembering a phenotype won’t be helpful for reordering, no?

An assistant would be appreciated for the slower students like me!

You select phenotype(used to be strains) and you are offered two sizes. 100 grams(2 pages of product) or 50 grams.
www.re-leaf.us/#!/Phenotypes/c/32472160/offset=0&sort=normal

You have Red, Green, White, or Yellow. Then pick a number and add it to your cart.

If you are managing pain and overall Reds work for that then select a Red.

I liked the ability to custom order my own sample packs. Old site I could select 100 grams of product and then write in strain names and ask for 10 grams of Red Kindra, 10 grams of Yellow Sundra and so on. If I liked the small sample I would reorder a larger size same batch I bought.
This custom ordering maybe was too much labor and not cost effective? But it seems kind of necessary for the new phenotype numbers. Maybe now the turn over in supply will be too fast to get the same batch who knows?
I dose small so 50 grams is a month supply and I do not consider it a sample size.
Will have to see how the new store evolves.

I can deal with names or numbers. But to find a green phennotype that will help me stay on my feet is important and I have a harder time finding the balance I need I have to sample at least 5 to 6 products before I find two that work. This will not be cost effective for me to buy 5 or 6 50 grams of green phenotype.

If the supply of a certain phenotype # is going to sell out quick..,and you cant get a reorder of the phenotype #.., then he mind as well just say do you want red, green or white. And send you the amount you want.

It serves no purpose to blindly select a phenotype # if you will not be able to reorder one you like.

That being said this video back ups re Leafs claim about marketing and strains. He shows a 25 second clip of it in one of his posts.

Yeah, I get what he's saying about the strains. I hear the same info everywhere. But that doesn't change the fact that I would like to go looking for red kindra, see red kindra, and select red kindra. I willingly accept that batches will vary, but I am not really willing to test out 20 different "red phenotypes" in an attempt to track down the one that I'm looking for. I don't have the money for that. If he doesn't want to stick to his typical strain names, why not go with descriptive names? I love their leaf, but this seems like an unnecessary hassle.
