Growing up as a teenager I used to smoke a lot and never really liked it or even being around it made me quite, awkward, paranoid. Each and every time.

It’s a tricky endeavor , I’ve smoked herb for over 20 years, haven’t smoked in about 8 months .. being the longest I’ve taken a break in all that time .. maybe a week or two tops a couple of times in 20 + years ...

there are some strains that give energy like stativa strains I can tell you a couple that come to mind

White widow and jack herer are some that have been energetic and not over the top anxiety producing ...

I may embark again with the herb someday but I’m taking a BIG hiatus for at least a year , nothing against it but I’ve been friends with it for a long time a need a long break

It can be a great ally, definitely a seductress in ways

Just finding the right amount for the right purpose and not getting lit all day every day is somthing to shoot for, though either way it’s a better choice than most substances , being a innocuous and benign herb with powerful qualities of various relief

I’ll report back if I can think of other strains that might give energy

Is herb legal in your state ??

Hope you find what your looking for

no it's not legal, but maybe one day I can experiment with multiple strains. Maybe id like it if there were more options. Growing up as a teenager we had only names like white rhino, purple haze, kush, white Russia, hydro. but we were all just a bunch of teenagers and I'm sure none of that was really what the actual strain was.

If I touch that stuff, I can eat EVERYTHING in minutes. No matter what kind. So I avoid it, even tho I have a medical card allowing me to purchase up to 6 plants!

But. I have a friend suffering with SERIOUS Vietnam PTSD as well as major depression (unlikely related to Vietnam).

He lightly bakes it and it’s totally stabilized his paranoia and depression (along with a strong SSRI). Oddly, kratom was not at all helpful for him.
He’s a fully functional, employed person with a family! It took YEARS to become functional for him. Stuff like that gives me hope. Even tho I can’t get there doing exactly what he does.

Just more proof that everyone is unique!

Yep, for some it’s way to much, for others a Miracle godsend flower... your right Laurie, everyone reacts in their own way,

I also have a friend that is a veteran and that is the one thing that helps him with his ill effects, on a spiritual and psychological level that he experiences from his time in war ...

It’s time the US of A realizes that these kinds of herbs/ tools , “Kratom and ganja” ... are sometimes( most of the time) the best and most effective way of getting relief from the ailments they suffer from,

One size does not fit all , let people have what works and let them find relief , it’s the humane and logical way to go!!

Peace and health, the greatest wealth

it would be nice to be able to go the the doctor and tell him your symptoms and recommends you a strain lol.

I remember I used to close up, everyone would be carrying on a conversation and I didn't want to feel weird so I would comment 30 minutes later after a lot of thinking. I kept thinking about all kids of stuff, my mind wouldn't let me be normal. I would lay in bed and the silence would trip me out, I would turn music on to chill me out and that would trip me out. I was so lost in my thoughts and I couldn't get comfortable in my own body to enjoy it. I would lay in bed and feel pressure in my head where I'd have to keep adjusting my position

Herb these days, actually all my days of smoking was very strong, if and when I choose to smoke or ingest again it will be deliberately VERY SMALL amounts ....

Just a little bit at first, adjust to the effects that are nice before taking more and risk being uncomfortably medicated

Because I was a everyday many times a day medical , recreational and spiritual user, my body was pretty well accustomed and adjusted to the effects,

If I were to take the same amounts now after not taking it in such a long time ... I’d be uncomfortable.

Little bit of medicine is good , to much and it defeats the purpose, at least my purpose which is to feel good and have relief and be comfortable

I think with consideration to all the factors then great relief will be experienced

It’s taken a life time (my life time thus far, ... to understand that less is more ,

It’s the same for Kratom in that sense, less is more

Desirable effects are what I’m after, feeling good in my body, in my mind ....

There’s a time and a place , an intentional reason and the proper amount to consider ... when that is taken into account your experience will be more beneficial and desirable and you will most likely get what you are looking for , relief

When I was Younger I loved to get really high, now I just want to feel good

Being High isn’t bad as long as it’s the kind that serves the purpose

* this statement “Souly “ is my own opinion and should not be mistaken or reflected with this forums Vision of purpose ...

But it’s all relative

=D> (c) (L) :x

Thx for hearing me ramble

I would sit around with friends and smoke blunts and joints and took as many hits as everyone else and as often as everyone else tobfit in. Maybe one hit would be different idk since second hand smoke trips me out too.

I'm thinking it's like this. the uneasy feeling in my head was probably a chemical imbalance. Maybe people with a chemical imbalance can't smoke or those without one can't smoke lol idk

I Also googled weed deaths and apparently the toll is higher than kratom
