Just a note about the search function.

Be sure to zero out the calendar OR elect the time period you want to search otherwise it will default to searching only today's topics for your search terms, and you will not find what you want.

The forum search is a great feature for finding lots of information that we have discussed previously.

Welcome to the best kratom forum ever, Skisouthtahoe.

That discussion is elsewhere in the forum. Try typing “turmeric” in the forum search button.

Or our link finder will attach it to a reply for you.
Hope you like it here.

I use a capped turmeric and use one cap of 500 mg turmeric with boswelia

Just wondering, if you toss and wash, as I do, how much turmeric should I mix with my dose? Thanks.

I've found that other chocolate candies work too. Toss and wash just doesn't work for me, I dissolve my dose in the morning with coffee and lots of sweet creamer, just enough to make a shot that takes a few swallows to get down. This is the easiest I've found, and I usually chase it with a carbonated soda or chocolate candy, the sweetness helps get rid of the aftertaste, and somehow the carbonation helps a bit as well. I've also used chocolate milk, which works nicely as a chaser.

My bad. I got a little over-zealous.

BlakGrenade,

Please appreciate the ILK forum without advertising unapproved vendor names.

Repeat offenders will not be welcome. THANK YOU.

Meaning, focus on swallowing the water that's washing the kratom down and drink more of it all at once than you might think is necessary.

I sprinkle the powder on top of a glass of water and give it a good 5 to 10 minutes...then swallow it down.

It DOES dissolve if you give it time and leave it alone. I find that stirring it just creates bubbles and bubbles lead to GAS!

I also use some fresh candy (I like the menthol cough candy type of lozenge) afterwards to clean out my palate.

I find that Kratom use does give a dry mouth, and my dental hygienist has recommended a product called Xylimelts. They are a lozenge that actually sticks to your gums and gradually dissolves, keeping your mouth moist.

I use them at night with good effect.
