Those were the serving sizes (500 mg.) that I started with, but if I take it either/both now I'll use a gram of each.

500 mg. makes for a good synergy with other stuff, but I prefer to take a gram of Incarvillea Sinensis and just know I'll be getting a modicum of relief for my back.

Corydalis is perhaps best suited for nighttime, but I've used it in the daytime without feeling sedated, or out of it. Might be too relaxing for daytime use for some though.

hey misskitty!

im a less is more gal to. for everything except kratom. go figure!

you CAN take both together but it might be best to see your reactions to each one at a time.

incarvillea (we call it is) start with a half gram and you can go up from there. easy to toss+ wash or put in caps. almost reminds me of chocolate milk. it doesnt make me sleepy, but it does for some. ive been told it can be a tolerance increaser, like kratom. so i dont use it every day. just when i need it and stack with others. from what ive found you can safely go up to 3-4g but i know you wont have to. i typically take 1.5-2g.

corydalis, to me is strong. and it makes me sleepy pretty fast. and im told i snore like a banshee. maybe start with a quarter gram? if you arent sleepy within a half hour take another quarter. i typically take one 00 capsule which is roughly .40g. if i need a little more i take same dose wild lettuce.

from my personal experiences, nighttime herbals seem to work very well together. i remember reading this somewhere and trying it. like one cap corydalis, one skullcap and im down for 8 hrs straight if i really need to get to bed, but cant. but yes start small, as your body gets used to it, even if you dont take it often its easier to go up.

hope that helps ;)

Hi misskitty!

I’m relatively new to taking IS and corydalis...
But when I take these great herbs I usually take around 3-3.5 gms . Might be over kill... idk... but that’s the amount I take and def feel like it’s perfect for my chemistry/ needs . Michele and some others can give more experienced thoughts and advice . I’d think starting off at 1.5-2gms and adjusting from there sounds pretty reasonable of a place to start . I don’t believe these herbs to be like kratom , where less is more ... but perhaps a personal sweet spot is the ticket :)
Life is better with kratom !

I just purchased both of the above from In Sense. Both suggested for night time use for pain. But....how do I ingest it? How much? I’ve done my research so I feel ok trying both (not together) but I do like to proceed with some caution. Although my first Kratom use was a red MD! I’m a less-is-more gal and still always start with 1/4 tsp or roughly .5 gr of Kratom..for every dose. Your thoughts on appropriate dosing and methods for Corydalis & Incarvillia S. Are greatly appreciated.
