I find that regardless of how many capsules I take that it doesn’t touch my back pain. (Back Fusion 10 months ago). The powder works great 2 teaspoons in almond milk on an empty stomach. Sadly I bought 8 bottles of Red Bali and White Maeng Da and Maeng Da. Dumb I know. I was just so afraid they were going to ban in my state. Has anyone else found this true. I am new to this product and don’t want to go back to Percocet. Any help or suggestion appreciated.

Have you thought of emptying the caps for use?
Sometimes the caps are not as helpful, but you can also poke holes in them to help them work better.

I use them for on-the-go when taking powder just isn’t convenient. They take longer to work, but the legs on the burn are longer. So I use those caps when I expect it could be six hours between doses.

Sounds like you are doing FINE so far. It’s ALL trial and error. You’ll find stuff that doesn’t work TODAY might help in 4 months.

To get off percosets, larger doses if you can rest. Smaller, more frequent dosing is better for daytime.

We ALL must try and see what helps. It’s not as simple as taking a pill. But it’s worth the effort in the long run, IMO.

Your tolerance is high from the perks. That will change as the perks wear off. Are you doing JUST KRATOM now, or switching between the two, or?

2 tsp is just about 5 gms (maybe slightly under IF the tsp is level)

To get that same dose you would have to take 10 capsules.

Were you taking that much?

As you build your Kratom collection all that you have purchased will come in handy in the future...so nothing will go to waste.

I went off Percocet as soon as I started Kratom. I was taking Percocet for 4 years. I only took 5 Kratom capsules once a day. I was fearful that I would build up a tolerance for it to quick. I will try your suggestion as well as being more patient with experimenting different strains and dosages.

5 commercial kratom capsules is about 2.5 gms which is well with the dose limits we suggest to start out. However, it is under the approximately 5 gms you were taking of powder....this is WHY the powder worked for you...you were gett more of the pain relieving alkaloids. However, it could also be because the capsules tend not to be as good or potent a product.

You can manage tolerance by NOT upping the dose once you find what works for you. YOu take the amount needed to get the results you desire without negative side effects.

obvioulsy you have been able to get off the percocet .....YEAH!

It sounds like you still need to do some experimenting.

Congratulations, BStehl!

Getting off opiates took me much longer. Psychological hurdles!

I’m so glad you shook that monkey off your back.

Glad I was born before Constitutional Rights were not in style to honor anymore. But I felt that way BEFORE yesterday.
