I know many of you use Kratom to manage pain, but some use it for mood lift, anxiety, and depression, like me. The worst part of the day for me is between doses.

Right now what I do is take roughly 5 to 5.5 Grams every 4 to 5 hours, 3 times a day. The good mood lift etc usually lasts around 2 to 2 1/2 hours max. If something wrecks my emotions between doses, I’m dying to take more Kratom but don’t feel that I can until “it’s time.”

I’ve tried taking micro-doses between macro doses but what usually happens is my body gets too much Kratom in my system, and I get drowsy.

Does anyone have a way to keep my mood lift more leveled with Kratom? Maybe I should try taking 3 Grams every 2.5 hours or something.

PhillyCheese, I hear you man. I have been experimenting on how to keep the good vibes going through out the day.
My personal routine lately is to take a large/Maximum dose in the morning and usually do a mix. I always try to make 50% a good long lasting Green(Green Malay) and a long lasting Red like (Red Maengda) at maybe 30-50% if there is any percentage left over I will go with white or another green.
This usually gets me through 4 to five Hours at work I have some capsules of Green, Red , White. According to what I think I need to get through the next 4 hours at work I will take 2 grams here or there.
Then when I get home I take a large/Maximum dose of Red or Yellow and if I need a little before bed I will take a beutangie or Sedativo mix( a red tha makes you tired)
I wish I could get a better after lunch feeling but like you I can get tired.
The first of the day and the end of the day are my best.,

I have the same problems.

I cannot digest as much plant material first thing in the morning. So I duplicate it, plus add 2 more grams, mid morning.

After eating, I’m screwed for a good hour. I repeat that larger dose after lunch. That gets me through most of the time, but I add a gram or two about 3 or 5 PM if I’m going to bed late.

Otherwise it impedes my proper rest, adding more difficulty to THAT day.

Quality product really matters a lot with regard to legs on a dose.

Great question. I wish!

Great answers, you two. Thank you very much. I think Jazzfan might be on to something with the mixing of strains. This might help things last longer. I'm going to experiment with doing that MORE. I do it now, but probably not enough.

And yep, eating kills everything. That's probably my major "side-effect" of Kratom - my eating habits are jacked up. Umm, not that they were great before.

The negatives of eating:

A) You shouldn't dose for at least another hour after eating. The more you eat, the longer you should wait. I've taken Kratom too soon after eating and it's almost a complete waste.

B ) If you're like me and you wait 3+ hours after a dose to eat - you're probably gonna be really hungry by then. Then I might eat TOO MUCH, and get really sleepy. If you have a lifestyle that allows, a nap is a good idea at this point. Wake up and then dose again. But if you can't do that.....this is the worst part of your day, getting through that hour plus before feeling like you can dose again.

The only recommendation I must state here is, 3 hrs is TOO LONG after eating. I set my alarm to 1 hr and usually can try sooner than that. But I’m on a cleanse/diet because I was eating Enough For 3 over the holidays from having quit nicotine in September, and I’m not expecting a baby. Definitely don’t wait 3 hrs because I’d be hungry AGAIN if I wait 3 hrs after eating to dose! :-o

If you find a miracle dosing routine that works, sign me up, PLEASE

It’s almost embarrassing how much eating affects my dose. The moment I’m feeling full, pain seeps in and I’m also battling depression and anxiety with it, so my BRAIN must be IGNORED until after my after-lunch dose.

Having stem n vein at night has boosted my morning doses a bit. <—some good news

I have to take my Kratom every 2 - 3 hours throughout the day in small doses. That's the best way I know how to keep the effects constant other than a Potentiator like Cat's Claw, Cimetidine, Cayenne, Turmeric w Black Pepper or Watercress. I have been on the lookout for another Herb that I can replace some of my doses so that I don't have to dose as much. One good replacement I've seen is Kava. Sounds like PDO Kava is going to be some High Quality Kava. It looks like an Alternative to Kratom will have to be a Blend of many Herbs with Potentiators but the thing is which Herbs. I only eat small meals. I have stomach Problems & I can only handle small amounts of food at one time.
If anybody has any Questions about Kratom please private message me or make a Post & I will be glad to answer as soon as I can usually within 24 hours if not sooner. I'm usually on really late at night Between Midnight & 5am.

MadMax, I also have stomach/intestinal issues so I too have to be careful.
I also saw PDO and the 90% Kava. I am very interested in trying it. I will report my experience on ILK. I know it takes a few times to experience the full benefits.
I agree with you that I am looking for something to put in my daily or every once in a while rotation.

Kava, I just made up a cup of PDO'S 90% extract and sat down to the computer. I am glad I ordered some and this will be my 5th time drinking Kava. I find that Kava gives a nice peaceful happy vibe. It is great to have Kava (especially GOOD Kava) in your tool kit. I believe for me it is a once or twice a week experience. It melts away anxiety and stress.

I don't feel that it will be able to replace Kratom in my daily rotation. I do feel like it is great to have around for rough days, weekends, or not being able calm down.

The batch of 90% Kava extract I got from PDO has been worth every penny. I have not tried any other Kava products.

Good Luck...

Anyone having trouble with digestion should try digestive enzymes NOT an acid reducing medication.

Your stomach is supposed to be acidic. A pH of 2 is necessary to digest proteins.
Raising the pH will cause absorption problems with certain nutrients. If you have digestive problems you want to be able to get the most out of your food that you can.

Cimetidine (Tagamet) can cause confusion in the elderly and can interact with a variety of medications as well.
