Hi Keekee22! Welcome back! I do think most of us feel kinda not well after our usual dose and try a few other strains/vendors. Still not much relief. Sometimes it just is what it is with no rhyme or reason and a good week of this is when you’re thinking a break is in order...Sometimes the tea helps again for no rhyme or reason. If not, a break is a wise idea.

Some choose to increase doses to delay the break. That works very well for some. Not for others.

Definitely helps to get feedback such as yours.

What’s also nice is a break is not nearly as difficult as the anxiety in our minds about it before that!

Glad you’re feeling well! I also enjoy the alternative herb blends from Laughing Lion, but it’s been a while since I used them. About a year now! They are a nice change do DURING a kratom break!

i forgot my question. What determines when a break is needed. I wasn't having any problems but majority seem to have breaks in their regimen.

Hello Laurie I still don't know how to maneuver this site. Sorry if posting in wrong spot. I have finally tried natural painkiller besides kratom. I went out to visit Laughing Lion. They mistakenly sent me a kilo of Kratom by mistake after I won the kilo in the store. They were gracious enough to give it to me. I purchased a 10 count bottle of Happy Day.I've been taking kratom daily for 7 mths. I took a break for 2 days and took ibuprophen 200mg twice the first day and 3 times the 2nd day. The more time that passed since last tea the more I hurt. The morning of day3 I had a nosebleed. The bleeding was one reason why I stopped pills to begin with. I'm seriously looking for alternatives. The happy day feels like it is managing all mental problems except crazy but the anxiety and depression r only a memory now. Great mood lift very relaxed without being sleepy. Very peaceful. I could compare to ativan without the slowness. I did not need my mid day tea. I did drink tea at 4amits been almost 15 hrs and I feel no pain. Ilovekratom. Blessings

I went to my neuro appt 2 wks ago. I told my doc the truth. It was a great visit. "I don't know what that is! I know nothing about it! This is the 1st time I've seen u smile. Get a lot of it. I was afraid of being dropped as a patient but it worked out well. I'm happy with my life now. I even went to my granddaughters dance-cheer competition! Out of town over nite in a hotel. I can't remember my last out of town wknd. I can honestly say I love kratom

I had a feeling about not saying a word to my doctor but I have lost trust in doctor patient relationship a long time ago. I research my own issues and use them for blood work or procedures(xrays, mams, mris)
I tried to feel out my new general practitioner with talk about my anti inflammatory diet and herbal supplements the lack of interest told me to back way off. Remember Pharmaceutical companies shape the way med students are educated and its geared to writing prescription. They barely recommend turmeric and certainly do not know how to advise successful use of the herb.

I heard of a Rheumatologist dropping a patient because of kratom use.

Keekee do not want to worry you and I am happy to hear about your positive results with Kratom.

Always bring a good advocate with you to your appointments.

Sounds like you’re doing great, but I’m not a medical person.

I spoke to my dr’s office and persons there - not my dr directly - about the kratom issue.

Apparently the FDA has set up “alerts” for anyone who even writes the word down in a file or medical chart as being used.

It’s part of a large scale attack they are launching by trying to essentially lump kratom into the opioid epidemic statistics, I’m guessing.

I was warned by other persons than my dr to not use the word in a dr’s presence under any circumstances or the dr’s job could be at risk!

I’m also unable to get a helpful pharmaceutical because 2 - people - ever - have died while using it.

This is new to my dr patient relationship experience and - really - sad.

I tried ur morning recipe yesterday with grn Malay red Bali and white Malay. Thank u
It worked great no break thru pain at all. I'm still amazed tried it again this morning but with gen Borneo red md and white md. Shooot! Not working today but such is kratom. I'm grateful to have had such a great day yesterday. .25g of red Bali got me to no more pain. I try to use different ones ea day and start over on day 5. I'm noticing red md just doesn't work for me unless I use it for break thru. It goes to the back of the bin for now. Y'all Laughing Lion has contest and coupons for st. Paddys. I spun the in-store wheel yesterday and won a free kilo of my choice. The staff were almost as happy as i. A blessing. My pm doc notified my neurologist that I'm using kratom. They have been leaving msg.daily that I need to make appt asap. "Kratom has not been proven safe". My dau to the PA I've had no adverse reactions. I have not had a seizure blood pressure better than its been since I was in my 30s. 118/64 and stays in that range. Someone mentioned in a reply about marajuana. I saw a natural medicine doc before stopping my medications. I didn't want to over/underdo anything on my own. My diagnoses r serious and I understand well enough to happy with my decision. Compared to taking pills, there is no comparison. I feel great. I can go for walks alone and NOT get lost. The first time I went alone I thought kratom was making me paranoid. I hurried back home thinking someone was following me. Well yeah someone was..my daughter. Its funny now and I owe an apology to kratom for thinking that. Don't forget I got a long list of mental illnesses also. Kratom allows me to know where I am when I wake up. My sis finally has relief from fibro pain and is planning to go back to work. High 5 for Kratom. Blessings

Yes yes yes. I want all that. U read my mind. Its difficult to make myself clear. Considering my doc told me 2 hrs after my first post op scan that I would be able to walk talk or think. Pills were making his prognosis come true. I don't want to go back to that. I want to do this the right way.

Keekee22 wrote: Thanks for ur replies. So much good info. I have a scale but can't get it set for mgs. My grandson will be here this wknd and will take care of it. I start with an eight tsp and add minute amounts till it shows 1.
Kratom has worked wonders for my memory.I was not able to be left alone at home. Forget I was cooking fire alarm was almost a guarantee. No sense of smell. Not safe. I moved in with my daughter. She is always telling me about the improvements she see since kratom. I get good effects. I was losing that well being feeling but it got very noticeable again with the gold.

Thanks for clarifying...I am so glad you have seen so many benefits from Kratom use!
