Amazing info! Just what I was looking for, thanks all! It’s super helpful! Never thought to soak over night, will definitely be giving that a shot, I have a feeling I’m going to need it this morning in particular

brandon and others got me on the natures cure bandwagon. I mixed premium red thai with the red borneo and a touch of turmeric in simply apple... WHAT..im crazy like that. and my knees and feet were barking at me. im sure ill eventually buy premium for those in cases, but don't wanna spoil myself yet.

novais, if you can I would try any new strong red. natures cure red borneo is awesome, and most reds don't 'work like that' for me. or thai, vietnam or bali, anything 'new' to you. in senses dark red mang da, red dragon, or fuzzy dragon are all awesome and work well for pain. their skullcap and corydalis work well for pain as well and help you sleep. lay on your tummy with ice or heat, whichever works best for you. hope you feel beter!

Red Borneo has the highest concentration of pain relieving alkaloids, so stick with that straight up for a while and see how it goes.

I often prepare a morning dose the night before so I can take it when my feet hit the floor in the morning. It makes it easier to start the day.

I always mix my doses in orange juice, because I like the taste and I’ve gotten into the habit of doing it that way, very rarely I toss and wash… Past week and a half I’ve been mixing in my doses in grapefruit juice , shaked .... 5 minuets later .. down the hatch

Laurie thx for the SIMPLY juice brand idea , I’ve been enjoying it

Insense rob, thx for the tip of letting the juice do its thing for a handful of minutes...letting the alkaloids get pulled out ....

After letting my dose sit in GFJuice over night feels like faster effects and stronger as well, but not all the time ...

Sorry about your back , I can empathize big time ...

I’d get red Borneo mixed with green Malay from natures cure… Both really good strains and I think the combo would be great for your condition

At night I prepare my morning dose, soaks all night, feels strong in the morning (L)

Also, have any of you actually experienced positive results from digesting orange juice soon after, or is that mostly a myth? If there’s validity to it, is it best to wait x amount of minutes after, or ingest it immediately after?

Welp, looks like I threw my back out at work today (hopefully just muscular and not another ruptured disc). Joy. No working out or hiking for me for a bit.

I’ve been using Red Horned Sulawesi for straight pain management, it works relatively well, but it’s not taking off the edge I’m this scenario. I’ve seen quite a few suggestions, but would anyone who has experience with it offer a strain more suited for pain? Would a Red Maeng Da or a Borneo be better for severe pain?

Novaisnumberone, please don’t let things get to “trouble” stage! Ask for help or ask questions that might seem obvious...nothing is off our discussion list! Including the all-important colon plumbing! So sorry to hear you’ve had troubles in the past! We are here to help you avoid that!
