hey skmdc!

there are also many herbals that help with pain. akuamma and incarvellia sinesis are great during the day. for me. chinese skullcap and corydalis are the best for nighttime.

Hi! Everyone already got you the proper information for now (but help and suggestions are always available). I just wanted to say hello and welcome to ILK, SKMDC!

Tramadol never did anything for me, either. Nuthin. Zip. With all the fuss in the media about how strong it is and addicting n stuff, it was a waste in my body. Big disappointment. But people have shown up here with serious habits to be relieved of and it was NO JOKE for them, so I have a healthy respect for it.

Anxiety is part of the benefits of some kratom. But some are STIMULATING. Yet helpful for anxiety...can’t wait to hear how you are in 6 months!

This is extremely helpful! I will definitely order from them! My last order came from CravingKratom which I saw reviews on from another site. But I will try this site!

Hello!
I have not taken the Tramadol regularly in over a year. I taken it every once in a while but honestly it does nothing for me and rarely ever has. I rely on my muscle relaxers (currently tizanidine) for some relief. The rest of the time I just live with the pain. I did try a Tramadol (one) earlier this week.
Thank you!

hey kris!

glad you graduated to a full on member! welcome to the family! that was my 'drugs of choice' before i found kratom. but just like you, they got tight handed on the script, and it really wasnt working. i didnt take it every day, so i can only tell you my experience. it took me a while to fidget with strains and companies to get a rhythm.

reds and golds or greens typically would be the best bet for you IMO. but reds can be sedating. so try 'daytime' reds first. like red horn, maeng da are typically safe bets. but dont be afraid to ask the vendor for an uplifting red. they help with anxiety too. but greens are the best typically for mood. yellows and golds are a nice cross between red and green, to me. good to mellow you out and help with pain but not typically sedating. whites can be the most tricky.

i do recommend you buy from an online reputable vendor sample pack. in sense botanicals offers a great 3oz sample pack value

re-leaf LLC ( maine ) has a great offer going right now. you get it cheaper than me! as a new customer with a code you get a sampler kilo for $99. and at least 20 strains, and they pick, which can be easier. they know what theyre doing. with my code GRYVOIQUU8 any new customer gets that. sign up for rewards and youll have free kratom in no time.

many other great vendors here. fused flora, oties, top extracts, lucky herbals, bennis, COB, PDO, list goes on. even natures cure has smaller bags too. they have a red borneo that i love! ask us for guidance once you narrow it down and we will try and help you with a discount code.

2 of the most important things of kratom is strain rotation and company rotation.

and as far as me, i havent taken any meds for pain in over a year. occasional acedomenophen on top of naturals once in a great while.

Hey Kris ,
Welcome to the ILK community,

Pretty much ditto what Nan said , kratom and tramadol should not be taken together! I believe there’s been some bad interactions with that combo . Taper and taper some more, best to be almost 200% off tramadol before taking kratom .

And absolutely kratom helps with pain and anxiety, After my first week of daily Kratom regimen, I got off my antidepressants, the following week my anxiety meds… And used to always welcome opiates in my life, now I can care less! Three years later I’m better than I’ve been in two decades!

Head shop kratom is notorious for being sketchy and not being the best quality, we have lots of good recommendations for vendors providing the best leaf you can ask for if you’re interested in any suggestions… Just ask away, we will help you out! Super stoked you found us ! this is a very special group of folks, we all want the best for each other :-bd

Take care

Brandon

Hi Kris,
I feel Kratom will help and be better. But some questions before I/we can advise.
Are you still taking Tramadol? What dose(how many grams or teaspoon did you use)? The kratom shop is it a botanical shop also or a head shop? Asking because of quality concerns and also expense can be higher.
People who are or were taking Tramadol will need to taper off the medicine. Tramadol and Kratom should not be taken together.Your Kratom dose will probably be higher than recommended because of Tramadol use. If Tramadol is still in your system kratom's effects will be greatly reduced. I hope someone can advise on Tramadol's half life.
Kratom is excellent for anxiety so once you find your kratom dose and strains that works I think your results will be good. Green strains are usually very good for anxiety so you will need to willing to go through some sampling.
hope to see more input for you soon
Take care

Hi everyone. I've been lurking for a few days and thought I would jump in. I am new to kratom. I have been on tramadol and every muscle relaxer there is for the last 12 years. I am no longer getting relief from them and I am hoping I can find this through kratom since it is legal and natural. I bought a small pack at a local kratom shop (red sumatra) and then also tried red bali. I had a little luck with it but have a sample of red maeng da (sp?) to try next. I want it to not only help with my pain but also help my severe anxiety. I look forward to learning a lot from you all. - Kris
