What an amazing introduction Silverstone,

Thank you for sharing some of your journey with us , kratom is nothing short of miraculous! I’m now happier than I’ve been in years , off meds and pain managed as best as I could hope for,

Between this spectacular community/ family , and the leaf that ties our lives together ... makes me the happiest to hear of other people’s kratom stories and how much life is better because of this lovely leaf !! (L)

Brandon
Life is better with kratom !

Finding Kratom was the answer to my prayers! I was looking for a more or less painless way to get off of long term opiate use prescribed to me by my primary physician. I'd been on the pills for 4 years taking a daily dose of 3 - 5 pills/day of Norco 10, (Hydrocodone/Acetaminaphen) and was looking for a way to alleviate my depression following a long list including major surgeries and radiation treatments for brain tumors. I did not like the way the other prescription depression drugs affected me and turned ALL my feelings down but did not lift me up the way the opiates did. In short my doctors did not agree with why I was taking it and so wanted to wean me off and steer me toward the other prescription anti-depression drugs which did not suit me. I needed something that did not require doctor's permission, was readily available and preferably legal. BAM! Kratom presents itself in a TV documentary I just happened to find. I quickly went online to find a good supplier and have been taking Kratom everyday in 3 gram doses in capsules I make from the powder. My daily 24 hour dosage adds up to approximately 9 - 10 grams. When I first began taking kratom daily I waited for 2 months of daily 9 grams or so to have my annual physical and blood work. I thought anything unusual or bad will show up in the blood tests if there were negative side effects I should avoid. My doctor was amazed and looked at my last years results compared to perfect test results this time around and prodded me to tell him what I was doing differently. I told him I was getting a lot more herbs like Turmeric into my diet, which was true by the way. I did not tell him about the Kratom because I knew as a medical professional he would try to discourage me and might even dump me as a patient like my last doctor did after I frustrated her not wanting to get off the opiates. Honestly I feel fantastic now and have the focus and drive and absolute feeling of bliss that totally satisfies my need to medicate in some way. It's legal in my state, and inexpensive to have it mailed to my door. It's everything I could ever want in a safe remedy for my previous depression. I think the depression was also caused by my prescription anti-seizure drug as it is listed as a side effect so this counteracts that tendency to depress me and allows me to be in a better place psychologically. Anyway, very long but i wanted to just put that all out there. Music has also helped me a lot in my recovery from surgeries and treatments over the years.
