I have struggled with anxiety and depression for years. Used alcohol for anxiety, but also have taken about everything else. I still take Zoloft, although it is half of what I used to take.
I have a back injury which led me to Kratom. I took diclofenic twice a day which really helped. My first try of Kratom was for anxiety. The pain relief was a bonus.
I tried a little Kratom on days I was anxious. It got me moving and stopped me from obsessing. Two years ago I hit a wall. Lost job, death in family, plus constant back pain, insomnia made me crazy, and I drank.
Kratom came to my rescue. Two grams every morning. Almost no back pain, rarely even take ibuprofen now. If I have a rough day, I’ll top up with two more grams late afternoon.

I have been through all the concerns about addiction and questioning if Kratom was ok. However, it is medicine, just like the other meds I took. I occasionally skip a day or two with no problem.

You can go down this path just fine. Many of us have and have better lives for it. My greatest concern is the attempts to make it illegal. I have a nice vacuumed packed stash just in case.

I honestly believe I have a couple... ...no-no, a FEW items, that will change your perspective on life. It's free, let me send you some free samples. I have some CBD Gummies that will help you at night, as well. I'm feeling confident here. I want nothing in return.

As far as the medications, I've been put on pretty much the same medications with the exception of one. I've had almost all of them, the only one we found to work was Welbutrin, but I recently stopped taking that too. Horray! You see, the Welbutrin is supposed to work on the same part of the brain as Ritalin, so I find it a little strange that your doctor has you on that rx. I have had to take these medications that works on dopamine, rather than serotonin, like your cymbalta. Grew up on drugs like those for ADHD, which I suspect...now...is Autism. I've had them all, I'm actually supposed to be on them right now...but I do not take them any longer because I've healed part of myself naturally.

There have been some other things that have helped change my life, not Kratom related but botanical related. It's cured my depression largely, while not entirely, it's truly reshaped my world the past couple of months. If you're truly struggling with not only pain, but depression and anxiety, I encourage you to reach out to me. While I cannot make medical claims, I can share my story with you, you can glean the knowledge, and hopefully, have more direction as to what to do and where to obtain the help that you need.

For me it's been Ritalin, Welbutrin, benzodiazpeans and hydrocodone. I only need the clonazepam now, two months ago though, I was on the verge of leaving this world. Now I take nothing, except that one drug, clonazipam (and ONLY at night, now). Let me help you.
I own and operate www.pharmacy-dropout.com We have the United States leading supply of bulk and retail Thunder God Vine. We also have Kratom, and other exotic botanicals. All of our Products are sold with no intent on use, and are not sold for consumption.

Nice to meet you kelbel,
Welcome to ILK, Very happy you found this unique and super supportive community,

Like you pointed out , everyone is different and may have diff results and chemistry needs , that said ...the potential for very good benefits are in most everyone’s favor .

Michele , our awesome Michele :) Gave solid words/ advice .. I second that ! Trying some smaller sample sizes from a few vendors to see what works best for you . There’s a lot of info out there , hard to know what’s what ... Thats why places like ILK are so important , helping by sharing stories and experience.

Rob from InSense/ Goldleaf is a highly recommended vendor to try . I’m happy he reached out to you here , great guy, great leaf .

I was on antidepressants and anxiety meds when starting with kratom , I didn’t have any negative reactions combining them , instead I felt better than I could remember in years ... so I stopped my meds (this was a personal choice, and very beneficial for me ) cold turkey ... which I don’t recommend doing .. tapering is extremely important! But I was able to stop my meds because of this amazing leaf and haven’t had any desire for opiates or need for any medication . Pain reduced , depression almost like a distant memory, and anxiety at a better than tolerable level . Ofcourse we are all different and I wouldn’t suggest anyone stopping their meds unless talking with their doctor and starting a tapering regimen.

I started out at approximately 4gms twice a day. Now I take 4.5-5.5 gms 4-5 x a day .
My tolerance has increased , but I still get stellar benefits more often than not .

The best advice I can offer , have a handful of “varieties “ from a few vendors and take the least amount of kratom that provides relief. Stay hydrated .

And try not to take more than is needed . With kratom .... less is more , more is less.. it’s a hard one to wrap the brain around , but this is so true . Getting the most out of kratom from variety and sticking to the lowest amount possible ..... a good way to go :)

Your in great company , we all want what’s best for each other on our personal and shared adventures with this special leaf .

We are here to help , any questions you have , we will try to find the best info to answer them.

Take care

Life is better with kratom !

hey kelbel!

glad to have you. you are in the right spot! before you get bulk you have to find out what works for you and your chemistry. get a few sample packs from a couple vendors if you can.

in sense/ gold leaf is a great place to start. get a 3 oz pack cheap or anything you like in a 5 oz sampler. anything but the 3oz use ILKFORME15% as your discount.

re-leaf llc (maine) has a great pick for me option. as a new member you can get a 20 strain sampler pack for $99 and for me its 150. i have a monthly script through them, this is a great discount way to get great leaf. the code for them is GRYVOIQUU8

so many others. i gave a huge list in another strain.

so, now down to the nitty gritty. i recommend an instant powder intake to start. easier than it sounds. many of us do toss and wash. put some liquid in your mouth, tilt your head back and slide in the powder from a spoon or a crased card or piece of paper. then swallow. OR take another quick swig of whatever you are drinking. you might want to practice with moringa or another herbal you take, if any.

many dissolve. i did this for a while. grapefruit juice ( espec white works well ) OJ, any quality juice, chocolate milk, cola, whatever works for you. let it sit and kinda dissolve for at least 10 min. my husband just puts it in water in a shake bottle, but i cant even stand it like that.

ok 2nd part, everyones dose/ often can be very unique. a good starting guide is 2g every 4 hrs. you may want to start your trial run on a day off. just to see how you react.

but yes, kratom helps with many things. white is typically good for energy, mood lift, enthusiasm, social acceptance, and some pain. greens are typically best for mood and acceptance a bit of energy and good pain relief. reds are most popular usually for pain relief and relaxation. they can help with sleep. but there can be relaxing greens and energetic reds. now im getting ahead of myself. golds and yellows are unique and vary. but if reds are too sedating then a gold is the way to go sometimes for day pain relief.

this may seem overwhelming. but we got you! feel free to ask away.

hello, i am new to all this. i take 60mg of cymbalta and 5mg of ritalin, have been for probably 10 years. i have no energy and dont sleep well, maybe 4 hours a night. it'a taking a toll on me. today i hurt my back (which happens several times a year) and i asked a friend for a hydrocodone. he no longer takes them and suggested Kratom (which he buys in bulk now). i have been reading up on it, but wanted to read 'real' stories. that's when i found this place. i would LOVE to have my energy back, my sleeping back and to lose weight (lol). i have read several conversations about mixing meds with kratom, all with good results (yes, i know it's different for each person). but what i haven't read is how many at a time, what times of day or how many times a day do ppl take kratom.

any and ALL knowledge is welcome (good or bad). so i look forward to hearing from you all. thanks in advance for your help on this.
