Hopefully you have discovered the wonderful melatonin. I have learned some things about sleep. ALL reading, TV, gadgets must be OFF. I use a sleep timer for radio to help me FALL ASLEEP, but STAY ASLEEP. You are so right. Rest and quality sleep are needed, and hard to get. This is PART OF IT. Weakness is unbelievable, but it fades faster than you think it will! Keep on the journey, sounds like you are well on your way (it gets better, even tho that seems impossible). Good luck and keep posting your journey - it will help YOU and OTHERS.

I sucessfully took my break now i'am at 3x10g a day, so i cut my usage in half.
Thats a good start. Looking forward to cut this in half once more in the future.
I plan to taper very slowly to 3x5g a day.

I don't know how red bali is classified as a weak strain. What is a weak strain exactly? A weak strain for one person may be a strong strain for another and vise versa.

I wish you all the best of luck with your mission to cut down your use of kratom consumption.
I would recommend if you start by taking a less strong kratom strain such as red vein bali kratom and being self disciplined in the quantity you consume. Only you can control the amount you use ultimately.

So weed is key! If you smoke enough you can sleep! I hope i can sleep next night also without the Kava Kava,
i will drink a really strong passion flower tea today. So 12 days and i have a sore throat since the second day, which do not want to go away...

Valium i don't want to take. This synthetic stuff is all shit, and gets you hooked quickly.
Kava Kava is MUCH better. Phenibut helped me the first 4 days, but even then i got a rebound which
was added to the kratom withdrawal effects = no fun.

I'm happy that i kicked this habit and looking forward to sleep without interruptions, because as i took
60g /day, 15g i had to take in the middle of the night only to be able to sleep till the next morning.
I never want to get there anymore. After my 4 week break (i hope it is enough) i want to get to a better
consumption schedule.Do you think it is enough to drop the tolerance to maybe 3x5g ?
I want to switch strains, and skip 2 days per week.

I took Phenibut the first 4 days for sleep worked great, from day 4 to 12 (today) didn't sleep much.
Maybe 1-2 hours per night. Last night i smoked mucho weed so i could sleep 4 hours. Now (in the middle of the night) i smoke another one and go to sleep again. I only take Kava Kava in the Evening to relax and it is really great, but i nothing left now. :( Hope to sleep soon again without helpers. The other symptoms are anxiety/tense feeling, very weak body...

As I'm sure you know the goal is to just get to the end of W/D as painlessly as possible without starting another addiction/habit. I would recommend eating well, drinking plenty of water, and taking vitamins (especially magnesium glycinate). Do this (and this is something you should do all the time anyhow) and then take psychoactives to mask the withdrawal. I would recommend cannabis, alcohol, and GHB. Only use enough so that you feel ok, but this is really up to you. Then I would recommend taking valium to help sleep. Trying to sleep was the worst part for me.
