Laurie, you said "I had to get the crystals also. But that’s why I got stem n vein. To use powder with a few sprinkles and then a day of stem n vein with powder. Trying to balance the tolerance."
Could you explain what are these crystals and what is stem n vein? Just trying to round out my education.
Turns out I fractured my heel and tore my plantar fascia so am in a walking cast for 4-6 weeks. Really throwing my balance off and aggravating my already injured other side. Just when I was starting to see a little progress form all this PT and pool exercise 3x week, this new monkey wrench. I could use a little euphoria LOL

Hopefully some others will pipe in here. I am not the best authority on how stem n vein is even SEPARATED? That sounds logistically impossible. But it IS different alkaloids, texture, smell, taste (similar but different) and it’s twice the price of an ounce of powder, so use it sparingly.

I develop tolerance to it fairly quickly - like a week - then set it aside.

I use it mixed with a good red for this pain. I really do hope all my self care will help me get MORE pain free days.

So so sorry you’re hurt ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE, missred. Hopefully you have something to help you sleep at night with that boot on!

EDIT: the crystals are extract product. Very addicting, almost the same w/d as opiates. Maybe a tad less intense and a few days less. I gotta weigh THAT versus recovery. So long as I’m careful to only use it occasionally, for emergencies, it helps but it bumps up tolerance.

Stem n vein used alone decrease tolerance. Many people use it to quit Kratom as it’s more subtle.

Sorry I don’t know much about it - and I’ve been reading about it (kratom) for years, lol

MIssred,
I have struggled with a foot problem for a few years now - same issue with a few additional breaks, fractures and sprains thrown in ... I wish you good luck and relief!
I swim also, but the past few weeks I could not do that, so - slowly feeling better and getting back.
Keep us posted!

Here’s a link from one vendor I use on what stem n vein is:

katsbotanicals.com/kratom-videos/top-5-f...ratom-stem-and-vein/

Scroll down to the proper video.

He pronounces it kratt um instead of crate um.

Tees, that “legs on the wall” comment really hit home. I had failed to explain it so well. THAT’S ME, too!

Kratom is helping today in the sense that I’m showered and took a painful but necessary walk.

Legs on the wall is next! LOL

Laurie,
Legs up the wall - actually the inversion is good for many things.
Have fun, my friend!

I don't think a kilo will fit into a quart mason jar. A kilo equals about 35 ounces by weight. I'd say about 6 ounces fits into a one-cup container. So you could fit 24 ounces into a quart jar.

I keep my opened kratom in mason jars of various sizes. I love my little 1/2 cup mason jars. I have a cheap 3-drawer file cabinet full of them, away from light and dampness.
