Not to say this hasn't been thought of or mentioned because I'm pretty sure it has....but what the AKA needs is a famous face or two to help front the cause.

Joe Rogan is the most famous person I know of that has talked about Kratom at length on his podcast.

But surely there are famous people out there who have come across this miracle leaf and are using it to manage pain or withdrawals or depression/anxiety. I mean, right....?

I wish they would speak up. This is one of those rare times where it's OKAY for famous people to use their fame as a platform, damnit! :P

Absolutely Philly!!!!! I think it would vital at this point to call the famous, beyond any doubt... we also need to start calling up tv and news papers to get the message out clearly and accurately. Besides only donating to the AKA we need to grasss roots this to the extreme. Have the AKA train us to have the key points to discuss( not that we dont already have that) but to be crystal clear and most effective in bringing the truth out !!!! We know why this plant is at risk, it’s a threat to the powers in big pharma, and the fraction of profit they would loose out on. We all know this is a act of criminal intemt, like that one owner of the pharmaceutical company that was sued for increasing the cost of a medicine by a ungodly amount. It’s just criminal what they (government) is attempting to do. We must have all the voices/ signatures and platforms all put together in one strong unbending voice of intention,

How do we organize this ?? One of us, all of us .... must contact local news papers, the local tv news .... and rally to make this movement seen for what it is... our basic rights to choose a plant that is unarguably safer than most, if not all of the otc medicine stamped as safe.

I just woke up, but I’m a awake and we all need to stand up to make sure this leaf does not get taken away. This nazi state of affairs needs to be defeated. Can’t say it enough

Can I get a show of hands??? Let’s organize , and manifest this, this plant saves people, we need to save this plant !!!!!

I vote to follow the AKA instructions because otherwise we are divided. I prefer ONE UNITED FRONT.

Just my opinion. Peace out.

Hey Laurie happy holidays sweetie :-P ,

I also believe in a united front for sure. I just received a email from re/leaf urging us to cal all the senators we can.. I’m of the opinion that that’s not a bad idea at all, at thee moment can’t see a negative with doing that ... but collectively on a united front to do this couldn’t hurt .. or could it ? I see crossing our fingers and donating to the AKA as just not being enough, I’m not insinuating that we go ape shit and militia style , not in the least !! But all of us must donate , and or call senators and see what else we can do .as. respectfully and clearly as one can , not wanting to take away “at all” from the civil rights movement that went down but this is definitely along the lines of fighting for our rights as free citizens to choose what is good and best for our lives and the need to do the proper thing.. to peacefully and unbendingly fight for our rights ..

If we didn’t do all that we can and the government just rolls out this Heynis Act .... we will not only be without this leaf but our spirits will be bad shape for not fighting the fight ..

I’m not in anyway writing because I don’t think you know what I’m saying but because this forum is a platform to inspire and seek help, I just want to encourage as many as possible that we all need to be taking action on this,

I wish all of you folks happy holidays(Though thanksgiving is a mixed bag for me, surrounding it’s history anyways)

Thanks for hearing me out, as always I look forward to ideas/thoughts and what have you about how and what we can do to protect our access to good botanicals

It just occurred to me today - if Kratom gets banned in the U.S. we can all just move to Canada and live with bomalley. :-bd

I would emigrate in a heartbeat if only Canada owned some territory in the Caribbean!

Well at least Cannabis is legal here - EXPENSIVE though.
Kratom is legal for sale, BUT not approved by Health Canada for consumption or as a health product.

There have been some seizures at brick and mortar stores but mostly because they were making health claims and selling capsules.

Sorry kemppaulh ...no Caribbean territories yet although there has been talk of that, particularly the Turks and Caicos Islands .

BUT I do love my country! When I read about some of the chaos and $hit Amercians have to deal with it is astounding to me. Everything seems so complex in the US...much simpler here. Even the Canada Health Act can be summed up in one page!

I even don't know much about this kratom ban in the USA. And I don't think FDA will do that. Because kratom is help and worked better as a natural supplement.
