So I heard that crushed leaf is actually a lot better and longer lasting than the powder. But only from one source.

I was wondering if anyone has tried crushed leaf and how they found it? I noticed not a lot of sellers are selling it, only canopy I’ve seen selling it.

I personally find most strains to be really weak for me ( I think because I’m dozing too much like 25g a day) So I’m wondering if this really is better or not. If it’s fresher it makes sense or not dried out. Otherwise wouldn’t eating the leaves be better than tea extraction?

It’s not practical to ship wet leaves. Mold.

People are going to think I'm nuts, but I've eaten the crushed leaf, straight.

Why?

A) Tea is a pain to make, imo
B ) I find it hard to believe Kratom is as effective in a tea

Is the crushed leaf stronger/longer lasting? I can't say for sure. Maybe....but I can't pinpoint it from my experience. That might be because of my tolerance, though.

I would probably buy more crushed leaf if it was more readily available.

Why?

A) I believe it's a bit cheaper - less processing
B ) It's less messy than powder when you are out and about/mobile.

I have tried a Red from Kratom Eye and also received a Green as a bonus once from Re-Leaf.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks so much! I was considering that, but my colon said WAIT! How did your pipes flow going this route?

:cheer: Another good question! ha ha.

Of course, everyone's pipes are different......I do not recall any issues or big differences. However, I did not use it A LOT back to back or anything like that. It was very intermittent.

But I have also consumed a lot of night-time herbs in the recent past (and just got some more) in the same manner and don't recall any issues either. Nothing out of the ordinary that was bad, anyway.

Again, everyone's colon is different so..... ;)

For example, did you know Elvis's colon weighed 62 lbs. when he died?

No, didn’t know that. But. I’ve been fascinated by the colon and the many miracles going on inside the gut. Especially with powder being a constant in my life for at least 2 years and intermittently for over double that.

Colon management is seriously important with this particular plant. The only way to fully enjoy the wonderful alkaloids is through proper colon management - so we can increase physical activities with family and friends, tend to jobs, etc. Otherwise, we feel better but we’re still likely trapped in bed - waiting...(voice of experience, lol)

just like opioids Kratom causes constipation.

Use the search feature on this forum and search on "digestion issues" .

There is a really good thread there for bowel management.
