So I've been curious about CBD for a while now. I've been wondering how it compares to Kratom, although I'm sure it's like comparing apples to oranges. Not sure if they have any kind of interaction together or if they possibly compliment each other. I had never tried any until a few days ago.

I was in a local vape shop,I dont make a habit out of buying Kratom from vape shops but I was completely out and where I ordered my Kratom from, usually takes 2-3 days, and I REALLY didnt want to wait that long for my next dose so I went ahead and bought just a small 25g package of White Borneo to tide me over until my shipment arrived. Anyways while I was in there I inquired about some CBD edibles that they had out on the counter,a small bag of gummies.

I figured I would buy just a small bag to see if I even liked them, long story short I ended up being talked into buying a small plastic container of gummies, only 20 bears in it and it was $50!!!! Kinda steep I was thinking for the quantity of bears, but hey maybe they were a really high quality so I figured why not. I had never tried CBD before and I could not find a good recommendation for the amount suggested for a first time user so I decided to take 2 bears, each being 13 MG, figured 26 MG was a safe amount for an average size adult male. I ate the 2 bears and well, didnt notice much of anything.

I dont know exactly what I was expecting,I mean I wasn't expecting to get high or anything off of THC free CBD gummies but I dunno,I was expecting maybe an uplift in mood or intense relaxation. Then again it was the weekend so I was already in a decent mood, maybe I should wait til the middle of a hectic work week and see if I notice a difference.

Maybe I should eat a 3rd bear which would be closer to a 40mg dosage? I'm not really sure, and after researching online I still am not any closer to knowing. Theres so many different options with CBD such as oils, vapes, edibles, topicals,etc......its about as overwhelming as when I first discovered Kratom and looking online at the various strains and colors. I'm just curious on everyone's experiences with CBD. I'm not looking to replace Kratom, just looking for something alternative if I want to say, take a few day break from Kratom in the future to build up my tolerance if I start to develop any.

I have tried CBD multiple times, and never felt any relief from pain, stress, anxiety, or....whatever. It does nothing for me. I have tried different brands that were touted as among the very best.

I would like to try CBD oil but from what I read sourcing quality oil is key. Christoper's Organic Botanicals has CBD www.christophersorganicbotanicals.com/Bu...t=117&show=30&page=2 and one local shop near me not a smoke shop but price is factor.

I take Incarvillea sinensis which leans toward relaxing, and Chuchuhuasi extract for pain management not to replace kratom but to supplement between doses. Both work for muscle aches and stress and have stretched out my time between kratom doses. Next I want to try Corydalis. Sometimes I want a break from Kratom but not from pain relief so I am expanding my botanicals a little bit at a time.

I have never had any effect for anything related to cannabis except very deep (very scary) depression.

I have tried CBD oil for pain (on physician's recomendation) and had a significant allergic reaction from sucking the oil off the end of toothpick 3 times per day. I got really "loopy" on the Benadryl but not from the cannabis.

Also cannabis in Canada is very expensive . I spent $600 my first month using it to try and manage pain and did not get any results...well except for the depression.

Truth be told, I do not notice any effects for Kratom either except for pain relief. Sometimes, if I take greens I will notice that I do not get fatigued (which is usual for me) but I do not notice anything that even remotely resembles euphoria or a high. Never noticed that when taking oxy either.
When I started taking Kratom I did notice the "wobbles" but that was only from whites and went away as I got the strains and doses worked out.

I get the same effect from drinking coffee ie the "wobbles".

I have never had a good effect for pain relief from any other botanicals except Akuamma seeds. I keep those on hand "just in case".

Cannot seem to find Incarvillea sinensis in Canada.

Oh...I have had good results with reducing inflammation from Indian Frankinsence (Boswellia Serrata) which I take twice daily.

I liked Christophers’ CBD product when I got a sample. It’s not helpful enough for me to add to my expenses by reordering as I’m not switching from kratom to CBD as some people are.
I recommend his product line.

We supply high quality CBD Oils and CBD gummies.

Unlike other so called CBD, our products are infused with real, organic, pure CBD and NOT just “coated” or “dipped”. That's where you need to be careful.

If you place an order with us, I'd be happy to provide some free samples so you can try some different varieties.

I’ve had the opportunity to try the Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Extract 250mg in mint and I NEED it tonight. Recommended for throbbing pain in the lower extremities.

I recommend this particular form in the bottle with dropper.

EDIT: I wasn’t sure I got relief, but it helped me relax and chill. That’s nice, but not valuable enough for me to purchase it. Sorry vendors.

It was really good when my cat was going through kidney failure and in pain. It calmed him down and kept him happy up until the end. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't do anything for me but I do know that the CBD and the hemp oil together are supposed to kill cancer. They are known to I'm not sure

Welcome to the best kratom forum ever, Jayfer46!

I also have not had good results YET. But many people HAVE.

Experimenting and patience is ongoing.

Many of the approved vendors are carrying a version they found helpful for them, personally. Which I love about ILK vendors.

Every metabolism is different, tho.

One member here had a bad reaction and is somewhat “allergic” to cannabis products (BoMalley). Definitely check the vendors list as their websites are pretty quick to search on from clicking their name.

This topic has not been explored nearly enough yet.
