Approximately a year ago and 1/2 ago I was taking Kratom 2x-3x a day and at 18gpd more or less.

At the time I was experimenting with a bunch of Research Chemicals and taking Provigil. I found that Kratom (Or I thought it was the Kratom) was affecting me cognitively. I would go to the internet for example and words that should have been familiar weren't. It just made me dumb.

I proceeded to quit Kratom. The way I did it was every other day for a weekI cut my dose in 1/2 until I was at around 2-3g per day. Then I stayed on the 2-3 g for a month and did a CT. At no time that I was cutting my dose did I feel withdrawal symptoms. It was easy as heck. When I finally went CT. I was fine for 2 days and on the 3rd I felt all achy. I took 2 ibupofren and the pain went away and after that day I experienced no withdrawal symptoms. For me quitting Kratom was less difficult than quitting Coffee/Caffeine.

Now fast forward around 9 months. I began taking Kratom again. I was feeling depressed and just wanted to feel good. The difference this time is that Aside from a low dose of prozac and Buspirone and abilify. I'm not taking any research chemicals at all.

Originally I planned just to take it 2-3x per week. But then my Provigil ran out and I came across the idea to use Kratom for wakefullness. I'm now taking daily around 18gpd. I don't worry about quitting because last time was so easy. I do make sure to have plenty of Kratom stockpiled. At least 2-3kg on hand.

I'm not having the cognition issues that I had before. Believe me, I'm keeping my eye out for them.

My feeling is that the negative experience that I had last time was a result of the mix of Research Chemicals with Kratom because this is the major difference this time around. Specifically I'm wondering if Provigil had a negative interaction with Kratom.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that my latest experience with Kratom continues to be positive.
