I dose 2-3 times a day depending on my needs. My doses vary from 4-5 grams of white or green strain to 6-7 grams of a red at night.

Corydalis! LOL <——I had to spell check that one. LOL

That herb, Corydalis, is extremely helpful for pain, as michele373 indicates. It also induces sleep, so use only at bedtime. Great way to avoid using kratom for sleep. Every dose raises tolerance.

I can say that because kratom does not help me sleep nor sedating effects reds give many people.

I would guess it’s tied to my depression having an affect on my sleep cycles, and I already feel tired and heavy weighted shortly upon waking. Right after I sit up and notice what a beautiful day it is. Then BAM, WHAM I feel heavy and tarred.

I bet that is why I don’t get sedating results from most any strain (I’ve had a few. But never been able to get the same batch again).

yes for every person you will get a different answer. I use k at least 5 days a week but if im really sore or work 6 ill take it for 6! my morning dose averages between 3.5- 5 grams sometimes 6 depending on what im taking, strength, what other pain supplements im taking, and frankly how ouchie I am. my average is 4 grams with most. ill usually redose close to half 5 hrs later ( I take mostly wites, golds and yellow due to "legs" occasional green ) and usually that's it. a red at night maybe 3 g about once a week. but since ive gotten introduced to cordilias thanks to these wonderful kratomites I haven't dosed at night in a while.

rickarilla is seems that kratom dosing varies from person to person. if what you are taking is working stick with it. its best to try to keep it low but some people need more to feel the benefits.
it can also vary from day to day or even throughout the day.

if you haven't yet i would suggest..,as mentioned by Nan.., using Turmeric with black pepper in it before you take your kratom. not only does it have great health benefits but it helps to make you kratom dose stronger.

Spinal arthritis/lower back problems

1.7 grams Green Strain before work. I can stay on my feet for 4 hours before I start to go south. If the pain level is hard to manage after the first dose or wears off too quickly I might redose 1.5 grams but usually I try to get off my feet or I will take what I call my break through pain herbs
Corydalis or Incarvillea - both relaxing properties or Chuchuhausi- more energetic.
(akuamma- new to this needs more trial) I usually do not take Kratom on weekend mornings.

Red strains every night 2.4 grams. All my kratom doses I mix with turmeric and black pepper.

This is my routine for the last year and half.

I dose 3- 5 x a day, , 6-9 grams a dose. My advice is stay at the lowest dose amount and frequency as possible to get benefits and not a big tolerance , I’m a bit jealous of those who take small amounts and get big benefits, .......good for you,!!!

days off of Kratom is a great idea from time to time, though I’ve only take 3 days off in the past 2 years, I take Kratom for chronic pain, depression and anxiety, I use this instead of pharmaceuticals, Kratom helped me get off meds , now I take powdered leaf and I’m so much happier with my life, I know things are gonna get done while not being tortured by my issues ... (L) doesn’t cure but brings relief and peace

I was curious how many times a day do most people use kratom and how much do you use at a time. Right now ive been using 3 times a day. Morning, afternoon, and night. Dosage around 2 grams each.
