Ah. Thank you Nan70. Helpful to know the dosages one certainly should not exceed, and probably should not approach.

I caved and bought turmeric supplements. I just capped my Moringa, and few rotation Reds and Greens to add to the capsules I bought for traveling, I was going to sit and cap my turmeric but this....

I think the fancy mixes with bioperine are handy for those of us who are too lazy to make the mix

Yes Laurie I am in fact too lazy. I reached my hand capping quota and Amazon was just so easy.

Insense/Goldleaf's turmeric I think is an extract standardized to 95% curcumin. The standard dose recommended is 500mg twice a day.
reference.medscape.com/drug/curcumin-curcuma-longa-turmeric-344529 <- make note this is a FDA recommended dose. My feeling is you can go higher depending on your own needs. I personally would not go beyond 2000 mg in one day if I was taking an extract form of it. Turmeric is blood thinning so you need to be careful taking turmeric before surgery, even a dental appointment.

Also, Nature’s Cure has a green Malay that no rotation should be lacking. Also very reasonable prices. I haven’t tried his other offerings yet, but it’s on my Wish List to do someday.

Thank you, Laurie. And yes, his prices are superb. I only recently came upon his offerings and found myself sincerely impressed.

Laurie, saw the shilijat on there. Been looking into it to add to my botanicals. Thanks for the recommendations

Welcome to the best kratom forum ever, ihopethisnameworks! Good question...I can vouch only for the shilajit powder, incarvillea sinensis, and corydalis - all outstanding with competitive pricing so he’s my resource on those.

Is anyone using the tumeric extract from In Sense? I'm curious as to what amount of their tumeric would typically be used to potentiate kratom?

It is a hassle to have turmeric handy and to dump it in every kratom dose. I have spent my share using magic erasure pads to rid the yellow stain off the counter and sink. For me I have the pepper, kratom and turmeric in the same area I am already making green strains with tea, moringa and kratom.
I was just telling someone whose husband is having problems treating arthritis about turmeric and she said she uses it in cooking . Unless she is cooking Indian cooking for three four meals a day there is no way you can be getting enough benefit from the turmeric.

I would have a much easier time cleaning the kitchen if I wasn't too cheap to buy my supplements in capsules. lol
