As I recently read, it is sometimes used to give a reddish color to Kratom. Does it have a distinct odor?

Yeah, I never heard of it either, so am not surprised at the crickets populating the thread ;).

Read about it on an approved vendor’s site.

It sometimes comes back on kratom tests I've seen. It is used when suppliers are cutting their kratom. They'll take a strong red or bent and cut it in to reduce the affects. The smell is hard to describe, it smells a bit like chicken livers to me, I mean without the chicken lol.
