Well I found a more economical alternative to the Crystal Light Pure .

Turns out that at my local Organic Grocery Store they sell Organic Lemon Juice. 1 Bottle is Equal to 30 lemons. It makes delicious lemonade. I just pour some in and add stevia and it really drowns the flavor of the Kratom.

I need to mention that you want to rinse your mouth after having any acid drinks that contact your teeth's enamel. And don't brush your teeth immediately after. Brushing while residual acid could be present also puts your enamel at risk. But that aside, the duration of contact is the biggest issue. I'd only be concerned if I was swishing the solution around my teeth, and then not rinsing.

So many uses for citric acid. I use it as part of my all in one cleaning, face and foot cleaning/disinfecting, spray, as I mix it with essential oils, isopropyl alcohol, Mrs. Meyer's Cleaner, Apple Cider Vinegar, filtered water, and a bit of coconut oil.

I also mix a bit of it with my fabric softener.

Babel-17 wrote: For downing Kratom I'm a real buckaroo and just stir in an eighth of a teaspoon of Citric acid powder into a few ounces of water. Lol, that dissolves the Kratom really well.

I tried Babel's citric acid method this morning for the first time. But I only used about a sixteenth of a tsp of it. And it was still very tart!
I was hoping it would help accelerate the kratom to work faster than the 90 minute to 2hrs that it takes for me now on an empty stomach.
I didn't notice any difference but I'll try again tomorrow with an eighth of a tsp. :-bd

As a side note the citric acid is a fantastic drain cleaner. It takes the stink out of drains with just a couple of tblsp of the powder. Also cleans the coffee stains off my stainless thermos cup. :-bd
It is fantastic stuff and very inexpensive. Way to go Babel. =D>

that's what I do! I dose out my powder, gently add water, stir to submerge the hydrophobic powder and chug. Then refill with more water and chug to get remnants. Then I drink yerba mate or coffee after. Works great!

The Crystal Light Pure came in and it turned out to be a very good low carb mixer. First time I tried it used very little water and not impressed. Then I experimented and used more water. Probably 4-6 ounces and 1 whole packet, and a level Tablespoon of Kratom, so it's double strength and I felt that it masked the taste decently.

Kratering,
I'm with you on staying away from the aspartame. It give my wife an I headaches almost immediately. We check just about everything we buy to make sure it is not in there. Stevia and regular sugar only for us.

In the morning I will blend coffee, kratom, stevia or monk fruit, protein powder and coconut oil. In the afternoon I will mix kratom, matcha green tea and stevia. There are good no/low carb choices. The previously mentioned Crystal Light natural is one I use from time to time or water, lemon juice and stevia is another.

Great idea but it contains aspartame.I react very badly to Aspartame. It throws me into Hypoglycemic shock.
Luckily they have one called Crystal Light Pure that is sweetened with Stevie. I have a bunch of flavors on the way
