Pretty much just what I said in the first paragraph. Either Michele or Nan, IIRC, likes it, so maybe they can be more exact as to its effects. It could be too much with a White.

Rhodiola Rosea, standardized for salidrosides, can hit you like strong, long lasting espresso, but with less jitteriness attached to it, and also with some adaptogenic effects.

Standardized for rosavins is also fine.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhodiola_rosea#Traditional_medicine

A 2012 report by the European Medicines Agency on literature concerning the dried extract of R. rosea stated that "The published clinical trials exhibit considerable deficiencies in their quality. Therefore 'well-established use' cannot be accepted" and added: "The traditional use as an adaptogen 'for temporary relief of symptoms of stress such as fatigue and sensation of weakness' is appropriate for traditional herbal medicinal products. ... The long-standing use as well as the outcome of the clinical trials support the plausibility of the use of the mentioned herbal preparation in the proposed indication."

I've got a huge/looking unkillable bag of it from Bulk Supplements at Amazon that works really well.

Huh, they're out of stock at this moment.

They have their own website though. They're out of the 250 gram size. The 500 gram size offers good bang for the buck but even if you like it it will last a long time. Many people take sporadic breaks from using it, so that could factor in how much you'd need/want. The 100 gram size is at a competitive price per gram, and could last you a really long time, even if you like it. And if you don't really like it, you're out less money. It is friggin' bitter, but I see that as part of its charm, and testimony to its power. ;)

The kilogram size outlasts most relationships, and some marriages. ;)

I have no connection to Bulk Supplements, other than being a middleman for my wallet and them. lol, ouch!

I always suspect that numerous health issues can be traced to slower digestion issues. It's also my opinion when we have people complain of hair loss and suspect kratom I feel intestinal health is the culprit. When you start to have problems with absorption vitamin and mineral levels in our system drop this can cause hormonal issues , brain functon issues ect....
It cannot hurt to get on top of digestive health and make an effort to be regular.

Is there any other supplements to take in place of Kratom that gives a little mood boost without becoming sleepy or hallucinating?

Rhodiola Rosea

and Ginko Biloba

Ginko has a gentler push to it compared to Rhodiola. I have used both with kratom without any problems

birish,

looks like you are taking the proper steps. tea time is awesome. fused flora has great magnolia and blue lotus. nothing trippy I don't like that feeling! just gives me a more mellow person which sometimes I need.

re-leaf has some of the best blends I have ever tried. great value now for a newbie, you can get kratom cheaper than me right now! but I am on a subscription, and they always take good care of me.

to get an added 10 % off my code is GRYVOIQUU8. 20 strains for a kilo for $99. they pick but you can ask for what you need. I screw up spelling on purpose, they get it! or say hey I want krambo or something like that for this...their instant kava is great too. mellows me out, stops mind clatter and helps me sleep. you will not be disappointed.

Hirsuta FOR ME is either undetectable or wobbles. Stem n vein I have not gotten wobbles, but I don’t use large quantities because of the roughage in the intestines being a bit larger. Electrolytes on top of water. Twice a week at least is my routine.

Otherwise I would scroll up to Michele373’s post for alternative botanicals and Babel-17 knows of quite a few more with subjective and ongoing results. He will help empty your wallet on Amazon as he does me! FOMO! Time off is the ideal. Even Hirsuta and stem n vein hinder my resets. They help manage the time in between, but reset effectiveness is limited quite substantially by using them. I used Akuamma only for my best, recent reset. But I was seriously sick anyway, so I had to sleep constantly, anyway. Unfortunately, I cannot use akuamma for awake time.
Good luck and keep posting how you are as you go! We care!

Thank you so much Laurie, Babel, Nan70, Michele373, and fused flora for all your great advice and feedback!! Yesterday I was really worried I’d never get positive effects back from Kratom at all and after reading all your replies I feel more hopeful this is just temporary.

I’ve racked my brain trying to figure anything I’ve changed recently. I’ve been on a low tapering dose of prednisone since November. Im asthmatic and developed an allergy only asthmatics can develop to a common fungus. I don’t think it’s that since this ineffective issue started in January.

Today I did stop taking a brain supplement I started taking in January, to see if that’s a contributing factor in this problem. I assume it’ll take a few days for me to know for sure if it is.

Im not regular and do struggle with regularity a lot and have wondered if that’s causing an issue too. I do drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Im only dosing 3 x a day stem n vein and Hirsuta for now. I am well overdue for a break. I usually have 8-10 hour fast from my last dose of day around 9-10pm and next morning dose 7-8am, but I’m going to bump it to 12 hours moving forward. I am going to extend time between my 3 doses as well.
I’m also going to try one of those intestinal cleanses.

Can absorption issue still cause wobbles if u take to much but zero positive effects?

Kratom really helps my energy and moods and I don’t mean the euphoria Kratom can have. I’ve not had that euphoria with Kratom since I started years ago and I’m ok with that.

Is there any other supplements to take in place of Kratom that gives a little mood boost without becoming sleepy or hallucinating?
I saw blue lotus but sounded like it could cause you to trip out but maybe I read that wrong.
Kenna I was interested in trying but u have to chew it to get effects I’d want.

At this point I don’t think I would get anything from any other teas since I’m not getting any effect from even then Hirsuta.
If it’s tolerance shouldn’t Hirsuta have an effect? I’ve never taken it before??

I’m sorry my reply back is like a short Novel and all over the place.
Thanks again!

Birish

PS I’d be interested in referral code too Michele373. I ordered SNV and the Hirsuta I’ve been taking from tea time botanicals after reading post from Babel.

Did you start a new medication? Stop exercising? Get sick? Change your diet?

A lot of these variables can change how your body reacts to it. If you've taken consistently for that long, and the same amount you've also got tolerance to compound this.

I largely agree with others' assessment to take a break, but I'd also offer to look hard at the other changes in your life to assess how they impact it.
