I am new here...And have spent days reading everything I can about Kratom.

I have been on large dosages of Fentanyl for 2 decades due to pain... Before the war on opiods I was fine. Now the same doctor that prescribed my dosages is forcing cutdowns..I have already reduced mine by a third and life is --- brutal... It seems the CDC and DEA are now my real doctors. I love my doctor and staff but he needs his license...

Anyways I am looking to 1. get off of the opoids and 2. get pain relief in other ways. From what I can gather the red Kratoms are what I will try. Bali and Borneo capsules are what I am thinking about trying. The reason I am bothering you is I am worried as most seem to act like a speed at lower dosages...

Is there a good pain relieving Kratom that does not spped one up or cause jitteryness....

Thanks for any responses..My other options are not good outcomes...I pray this works..

Also any advice on dosage, withdrawal usage and then daily dosage is NEEDED... I am looking at capsules from Kratom Store..

Thank you again..I would rather make choices on those using the product that those selling it...

You might to want to get a sample of powder to see if you can get that down (many ways to take it). It might be the only way to go if price is a factor and one is looking to replace a serious level of prescription pain medication. The difference in cost between capsules and powder can be substantial. Start slow, don't expect miracles, get samples, and you might be pleasantly surprised by the kind of benefits many users have reported on.

I take so many supplements that I think work with Kratom that I don't know where to start in mentioning them. For someone like you with a serious pain issue most of them might be frivolous in their usefulness.

Agmatine is a derivative of the amino acid Arginine that many claim helps in regards the inevitable tolerance build up to Kratom. I buy that in powder form. Black seed oil is popular among some people who have to use opioids due to its reputed ability to mitigate tolerance, and afaik the Kratom community has been gradually starting to use it as well for that same reason.

Lots of supplements are touted for their ability to block the liver's enzymes from tagging Kratom's active components for speedy neutralization, thus extending the time that a Kratom dose keeps working. Curcumin, Black Pepper/piperine, and several others are often used for that, as is regular old grapefruit juice.

Citric acid, which is in grapefruit juice, by itself can be useful for ensuring that the Kratom powder releases its alkaloids.

Shreveport,

sorry hate when I hit the wrong thing lol! glad to have you here. please read up here (search detox or opiod replacement) don't trust gooble. I deciphered on my own blindly for a couple months before I found the forum. no matter what yo get you will 'feel' it pretty quickly. of course new product right?

there are many approved vendors that we recommend. in sense/ gold leaf is a great start. you can get 3 oz for 17 bucks. maybe pick 2 red and one green. whites can make some a bit jittery and not typically the go to for pain relief. . the red bent, red horn, red mang da (dark) are great. fuzzy dragon and red dragon are faves of mine as well. and they have other botanicals that help with pain as well. and synchronize with the leaf. akuamma, incarviella, corydalis, and skullcap are all in my weekly rotation. minimum. email them telling them what you are coming off and what they suggest. its good to sample first to see what works best for you. we all react differently.

i mix powder in strong juice, iced tea, or chocolate milk. let it settle and dissolve for a few min. knock it down! soda chaser works to dilute taste. and carbonation helps feel it fast. i make my own caps for work and on the go.

inland and pharmacy drop out are other quick options. others id recommend for future orders but may take about a week to get. one step at a time. you got this. you came to the right place!

Welcome to the forum
You will get guidance. I know practically nothing about fentanyl but I feel you will need to taper it down before you switch to kratom.
This might be helpful to prepare.
www.ilovekratom.com/kratom-news-blog/57-...addiction-to-opiates

You are right about Red strains to begin first especially if you go through any withdrawals with maybe Green Malay being the exception.
If you absolutely need to start by using capsules these approved vendors have the best selection.
Nature's Cure
-highly reviewed Green Malay and Red Bali
Pa Botanicals
- yellow borneo
Christopher's Organic
- Red Maeng Da
Kratom Divine

You will have to factor the size of the caps and how many you need to take. Nature's Cure they are 750 mg. A typical dose for coming off an opiate is anywhere from 3 grams to possibly up to 8 grams

Keep asking questions you need and keep reading until you feel comfortable

Thanks to all that replied... I hate that my great Doctor is now nothing but a government mandated doser... But it is what it is.. I emphasize with his position.. The staff there has gotten much colder towards the patients, I guess I would be to with 50 or so people bitching at me every day...

In any event maybe I will try to get switched to straight morphine which in itself will be about a 1/3 of my currant dosage with fentanyl being 100 times stronger than morphine. I will see if I can get though the sickness..Then maybe the Kraytom would work better... None of my options seem great.

Again thanks...It is a bit of a reassurance to me about mankind as I have had no one to share all this with and never had expected so many responses so fast....

Still a week to think on it... Again, thank you....

When I found kratom . Or it found me... I was clear and far from opiates , but have plenty of personal experience with it ... I want to reassure you that this will help you tremendously with some tapering down with a good/!healthy regimen with kratom, totally doable!!. Like Laurie said ..!”you got this” !!!!!!!!’n

We are here for you and know beyond a reasonable doubt that you can pull this off... taper , taper and taper .... in between the tapering take doses of kratom to help mitigate the wd’s .... as you get further down the trail of less opiates, you will feel the benefits of kratom more and more... In the meantime, kratom will help with WD’s.

Much love and courage sent to you from all of us

We are here to support you through this process.. if one doesn’t have the answer , collectively we will find some info / advice to help you along !!

Welcome to our beautiful community of folks that truly care

Before the war on opiods I was fine. Now the same doctor that prescribed my dosages is forcing cut downs..

This is malpractice. Pain patients deserve treatment and quality of life. Forcing a taper because an agency sends down recommendations and not on the doctors advice is wrong. The the doctors and staff start the drug seeker labeling. I find pain patients have trouble advocating for themselves because of this labeling and our mental health declines with the pain the ability to handle stress and function is low. I am not against anyone using medications to manage pain. Our forum member bomalley is a nurse and will always counter with these medication are a health hazard(not to speak for her). Kratom has a higher safety profile.

Read through some of the posts and when you get ready to order we are here to answer your question and for support.
