Sounds like you gotta keep on keeping on. 3 months is easily where people run out of patience and START OVER :-o

I’m in recovery and still have zero patience. Instant gratification is what my brain seeks so I know how LONG IT FEELS TO YOU (all your adult life, practically, right?)

I’m glad you have plenty of supplements for support.

What got you in that mess? Pain? Depression? I can recommend supplements I use with results, depending.

You’re right on track. Congratulations!

real depression. some say its biological and it sure feels like it. at 16 I found opiates and they cloaked it like no other antidepressant, weed, alchohol etc ever could. not to mention that im a real individual that lives in a world or ignorant naïve and apathetic conformists that live in a state of extended adolesense never knowing real maturity, real critical thinking. a sick society is hard to stay well in. the terrible current human condition that we live in is the other reason I used.its still damn near intolerable to me although ive lived in it for 32 years. 7 of which I don't remember thank god. many massmen aka sheeple are and always were some what fine with it, never questioning anything. comfortable within the notion of ignorance is bliss. this is a excuse to abuse. abuse of opioids and as you know if you abuse any drug it abuses you back within many ways. one being withdrawl. drugs hit back unfortunatelylool. I just feel like a kratom addict now that has totally veered off path. which is ok for people that truly need kratom or other opioids/opiates. but I do not. I need to find the correct herb for my depression. or the correct combination.

Hey paradox! I like to fancy myself as having been a bit of a buckaroo in the past. With that said I hope you'll trust me somewhat when I urge maximum caution with Phenibut.

Since you found that I assume you know your way around the nootropics a bit, and one that's infinitely safer, as it up regulates GABBA-B receptors, is Fasoracetam. It just takes a while for it to do its thing. You only get a small benefit in the beginning, but then after a few weeks the real dividends kick in.

Noopept also offers some safe benefits. Old time herbs that work to help with GABBA are the extracts from Kava, Valerian, Skullcap, and Magnolia Bark.

Hard core people mostly agree that Phenibut needs to be treated like Dynamite that's leaching out its Nitro. ;)

Hi paradox,

We must be blood relatives! Ha! The disease of depression (and some bonus mental illnesses for some) is definitely in my heritage, so it IS biological in my experience.

I never reproduced, in part, because of this. I am the end of the line on my Dad’s side of the family.

I also could benefit from a proper antidepressant medication and would not need a kratom habit. But. I also found opiates incredibly helpful for my depression and anxiety and the problem was the tolerance issues got me into trouble.

My depression also seemingly causes the intense muscle spasms I get for hours and days on end. Sometimes. My primary physician believes it to be true because we had everything physically checked and I should be fine.

So you’re not alone. You have support here in this forum.

I happen to have opinions that mirror yours. THANKS FOR SHARING - READ MY MIND!

Keep on keeping on. You’ll be able to wean off kratom after ONE YEAR off subs. That’s what my dr says it takes. Give or take. Not 3 months. Subs are evil.

Babel-17,

How are you feeling today? Love the robot! Great photo for the discussion.

“Danger Will Robinson!”

Billy Mumy (actor who portrayed Will Robinson) used to do interviews with Art Bell and probably still does with George Noory on coasttocoastam! He’s still an actor and also plays in a band, I forget which instrument.

Billy has some really funny stories about “Robot”.

yea I cant reproduce either because im male lol and I don't ever plan on having kids. I just never had a desire to have kids. my mom has depression. and I do believe that they made suboxone and methadone a certain way to acquire a constant money flow. made sure it was damn near impossible too get off of because even at a very very low dose one can easily enter the opioid hell house. go into a nasty withdrawl. yea im thinking we might be related lol and im also thinkin that one year sounds a lot more rational than 3 months. maybe I am expecting a little too much. I have noticed my withdrawl to decrease though. how many grams do you take a day and what are your withdrawls like?? and id like to see what elese we have in common. might be interesting.

yea babel ive been scared off the stuff and super catious. ive never been one to love gabapentinoids or benzos but since phenibut is unique im very catious not to mention that I took about 750mg once and it didn't do much so I drank a couple beers which I threw up for some reason then I took kratom and it was the best kratom experience of my life. wooow did I feel so so good. I basically unintentionally relapsed. ive had this phenibut for about a month now and have only taken it twice. my issue is sleep. if I could get more sleep then id have a easier time weening and a better life. I take my big dose about a hr or so before bed. melatonin dosent work. I just wake up groggy and depressed. passionflower from solar ray dosent work either. plus I heard it can be very toxic if its not the right stuff like kava can be. I got kava from NOW brands which I don't really trust and it wash garbage. maybe I need some good kava or valerian root for sleep??

I am unclear on what your “big dose” before bed is. If kratom, no wonder you can’t sleep well.

I’m not cutting back at this time. But I do get body aches sometimes between doses if it’s been over 4 hrs. I also sometimes get sweat flashes.

My dosing is highest it’s been, but I’m treating pain prn (as needed) and NOT waiting for it to get acute between doses very often.

I’m using 24 grams a day. My “withdrawal” symptoms are SUPER MILD. As explained above.

Later, bro! Hahahaha

He also starred in one of my favorite shows, Babylon 5. He's got a funny story about how you don't dare improvise even one word of your lines when doing a Star Trek show. ;) lol
