I quit suboxone almost 3 months ago on may 11th and switched directly to about 23-25 grams of kratom a day. I was on suboxone for 6 years so the fact that ive had opiods on my receptors for the last 6.5 years is definetly contributing to this withdrawl. those long stretches of daily opioid use definetly intensify most peoples withdrawls of course. thanks for deeming my daily dose as reasonable because I feel like a slacker that is going nowhere. in other words I should almost be off kratom right now. that is my goal and im failing as of now.

Ohhhhh now I get it.

You’re DEFINITELY too hard on yourself. That confirms it.

Shame and guilt are so overused. I applaud your not blaming outside sources for the state you’re in. 3 months is nothing with the half-life of those bad boys.

3 months is HUGE! Congratulations! You’re riding the hard part of PAWS (post acute withdrawal syndrome for anyone reading-I’m sure you’re familiar with the term) NOW. This is where people turn around and START OVER. If you keep going, the view gets better. I’m sorry you are on the LONGEST road.

You’ve come a long way, stranger!

That’s cool that Joe’s product line is helpful for you! He’d be proud to know he’s been part of your recovery from marriage to pharmies.

You’ll be a new person by Christmas! COOL! Let us hear how you are along the way?

Congrats Paradox on Quitting Subs. This is what Kratom is all about. Kratom is so much better for your body than anything like Suboxone would be. 17 Grams a day is not bad at all unless you don't want to take it daily anymore. I bet I take almost Double that on my Bad Days. I usually take around 25 Grams a day & have been at that Daily Dosage for around 6 or more Years.

Everybody has their Limit on what Kratom Dosage per day that they should take. You have to Listen to your Body so see what that Limit is. If you are getting the Wobbles, getting Dizzy, Headaches, Feeling Sleepy, Really Constipated or Have No Motivation or Energy then that's when you should Back down from your Daily Dose until you are no longer getting any bad side effects. Usually it takes a big daily dosage to cause side effects but your body will tell you if your taking too much.

Don't beat yourself up about it. If you want to get off Kratom then very slowly lower each Dosage by about 10% everyday & in 3 days lower it another 10% & so on. Or you can Replace some of your Dose with Stem & Vein if you want your Tolerance to come down some.
If anybody has any Questions about Kratom please private message me or make a Post & I will be glad to answer as soon as I can usually within 24 hours if not sooner. I'm usually on really late at night Between Midnight & 5am.
