I agree with Maddest Max - I've tried strains of Kratom that didn't work on the 1st application. I let those sit and the weird thing is that 98% of them worked after some time. I have no idea why, but that's the truth of it. I also know that certain strains don't affect me at all. (That remaining 2%) Everyone has a different chemistry and that's just par for the course.

Rodie, I have pain and depression. A couple of nasty injuries, one that is the killer - a compressed disc that when irritated goes bananas with nerve pain. I was also diagnosed with emphysema, so a definite due date stamped out! When I initially got the diagnoses, I started a plan for quitting smoking. I'm. member of Kaisers, and they had me do a mammogram - there were 'suspicious' something or others...I had to go in for a biopsy. The head intake nurse was getting my medical history and asked about conditions, so I mentioned the emphysema. She went (pardon the expression) bat shit crazy and was yelling at me that I had to quit smoking, she could show me people in ICU that were suffocating to death blah blah blah and in doing so she let the monster out of the box. Why bother? I'm going to suffocate to death if something else doesn't get me first. I was quite surprised that she reacted that way - everyone else I had dealt with had been well behaved. There's very little point in freaking out on a patient who is as far gone as I was/am. Oh well. Thankfully Kratom has allowed me to quit Tramadol entirely, and I stopped taking Ativan as well. It's so amazing...I didn't try to quit Ativan. I'd been on it since 1993 and the one time I tried to quit was pure hell. Kratom stops the intense anxiety. I am so relieved to have found it!

Oh, and I received my Kratom from Herbal RVA - 5 stars! Very pleased with the speed of shipping and the quality of the Kratom. It's so nice since it means I have another rock solid company that I can afford!

And here I am feeling sorry for myself because I can’t smell or taste anything yet...

Wow sorry to hear that, emphysema does not sound fun at all, not to mention the compressed disc.
I am glad RVA worked out for you. :)

Laurie, don't do yourself the injustice of comparing. It's an apples and oranges type thing. And you are a good egg!

I was kind of surprised to find out that Tom Petty had emphysema. About a year ago a friend insisted I read a book about Ava Gardner, and in it she constantly talks about John Huston who had it and she kept saying how terribly painful it was...I was dumbfounded that my friend completely missed that part of the book! Tom Petty had other physical problems that he was on painkillers for but I'm trying to imagine how bad it will get - so I'm not really looking forward to the next phase! I have to say - no complaints. I've been so lucky in life and had the most wonderful and interesting ride.

Emphysema is an especially touchy disease personally. Did not know Tom Petty had it - he forgot to say anything before or after one of the only concerts in my adult life, back in September. He was uh mazing!

Sorry to hear your plight, Kitsune. I share your thoughts on time spent on the planet. I’m also blessed enough to have SAID what needed saying with loved ones already - just in case! Each day is a fun surprise!

Very cool that you got to see him Laurie! I love his music. Sorry he overdosed, but I guess there are worse ways to go! (See nasty nurse's remark to me above lol!)

And I am sorry you are dealing with the loss of smell and taste. That has to be really difficult. I know so many things are connected to those two senses. I really hope you regain them Laurie.

I think getting that diagnoses was tough, but there is a good side. No more baloney. Yay! I don't do anything I don't want to do. I'm spending my time doing what I want to do and more importantly on what I need to do. It's been liberating. Doesn't get me out of doing the dishes though dang it!!

Smell and taste are TEMPORARILY missing.
Big difference, BUT I LOVE YOUR VISION and shall let you be an example as to how I want to be :)

I'm Extremely Sorry to hear of your Diagnosis Kitsune. How have you been feeling lately? That was so Uncalled for what that Nurse said to you. It's not her job to yell at you. That Nurse shouldn't be a Nurse. How long have you been smoking if you don't mind me asking? What Treatment are they giving you for it?

Besides PharmacyDropout & Jeff who I've always had great experiences with.. I have been trying Gaia and have been very satisfied. Their blends/capsules are very nice, maybe the the most potent... but I love them and they've been great!

I love Re-Leaf. I feel their product is of exceptional quality. I take kratom for its anti-depressive properties, energy, motivation, and focus,3g dose lasts a solid five to six hours for me. The customer service Joe and Jazmine provide is incomparable to any customer service I've have experienced previously. They are available at all hours via phone, text, or email. They offer personalized products with such kindness. Re-Leaf is quick to ship, I usually receive my order three or four days after I place it. I have always received additional product with my order, more than just one or two sample-sized bags. On my last order I received an additional 20% without any salesor special promotions being held.
Another reason I love Re-Leaf is Joe advocating for the treatment of the farmers. Not only do I find this very admirable, but it speaks to Joe's character. He is looking to help others and make a difference in their lives, not just turn a profit.
Please try Re-Leaf, you will not be disappointed.
