I’m so glad you’re NOT switching to laminate. It shows every sock print! I’d be chasing family and guests around with mop socks on and a swiffer!

I got some white Malaysian with my kavalactones as a sample. I’m not a white user (anxiety), but it’s really nice. Go PDO

Thanks E for the wood update!
We dabble in real estate so we know where to get recommendations for wood guys outside this forum  We have some nail exposure but we are going to refinish, it would be too sad to cover the character in these floors with sock print showing laminate- did not know laminate did that thanks for the tip Laurie I would have constant cat tracks.

I have not tried HH. They are priced to support advertising I am assuming, its seems they are linked to a lot of Kratom articles, Like purkartom, and coastline.

I found potency with-
Re-leaf- I actually get a kratom hangover I have to remind myself to dose less.
Inland
Goldleaf/Insense
Online Kratom
Pa Botanicals
PDO - my first sample Red Malaysian- but knowing they review as more potent I reduced my dose by 400mg- this substantial because I am a low doser.(2.4g reds- 1.7g greens) and it was still almost too strong.

This compares to vendors like Gaia, So-Cal, so I have sampled around others and now I stay with the ones listed above.

Of course Kratom is subjective to many factors.

I always take advantage of coupon codes and order around sales.

I'm right there with you, low dose for me as well. That's one of the reasons I brought it up. I don't go through that much so, quality matters more than price for me but, if you can get the same quality for less.. even better. I try to buy on sale too, if there's free shipping, it's not an issue. HH charges shipping and has usually a sale a week that lasts a day or so. Well, I already covered that.

I don't like laminate flooring (pergo) either, it's less the sock printing for me than the feel of walking on it. I'd rather walk on linoleum. I installed engineered wood flooring in my last house (hardwood glued to t&g plywood and prefinished with urathane)... Loved it. Went down nice, looked great, finish was a semi gloss, didn't track or scuff, would definitely use again. I was going over a concrete slab and in several rooms an existing tile floor so while that played a part, I would still use it on a wood sub floor. I helping with a bamboo plank flooring job recently.. will never touch that stuff again... Splinters, split, had a printed on finish that scratched if you look at it wrong.

Oh yeah, saw those nail holes, old school rustic. They will set all those deeper before sanding and fill before finishing if you prefer a less rustic look. There's some good urathane finishes out now that rival the old school high voc ( have to live somewhere else for a month and move all your stuff out) finishes.

Cool, read it. Totally agree. HH has consistently had good potent product. The only one I haven't liked is the HH2 (Indo red) but I think that's just me based on reviews. Everything else other than price is good. My question, for people who have used HH is, what other vendors offer similar strength and quality for a lower price. ? The sale price +currently 10% off for echeck is still above alot of the vendors here regular price (depending on strain) and unless something changed they still charge for shipping so, multiple strain purchases in one order are still way above others and the shipping costs per order make the sale thing moot (on multiple strains).

I would say Inland Botanicals would Equal Happy Hippo's Potency but will be much cheaper. Inland Botanicals are one of the Best Vendors that I have tried. They are in my Top 5 of all time.

ETC wrote: Hey Dr prepper, I forgot to ask again (lost a couple posts). You suggested a few strains from in sense, how do you rate the potency compared to HH ? You mentioned in your first post here how HH seemed to be more potent.

So far i would have to say HH is the most potent i’ve tried. It’s the only one that if i’m not measuring in exact dose i’ve gotten the wobbles with quickly. Some of the better ones from In sense seems close like the green optima.

Actually just today i received and tried PA and really like the white indo, this might be some of the more potent i’ve had also. Unfortunately, PA arrived 2 weeks after the order was placed, and didn’t reply to two emails, where every other approved vendor shipped within days they didn’t update or replay to me...

Thanks for this! I never read this before but I would have echoed your comments almost exactly the same especially with regard to Hyper and that Red Sumatra! Gosh I love that Magic! The best red i’ve tried to date but dang is that an expensive one... like $17 per ounce I believe

Dr prepper- Thanks. I'm going to go back and read all this again and order some sample packs from Inland Botanicals and In Sense. Which ones specifically did you consider "good" ? I remember white Hulu, you just mentioned green optima, think red Sumatra was in there ? Was there some "not so good ones" ? Or just "it's meh".

Madmaxknightrider- thanks for the input, helps narrow down my starting points. My choices for HH right now would be Red Hot, Rockstar, magic, and probably a yellow because I don't think I've had any. I have some HH 1 and ghost right now, both good but I need break from them. Ghost - good focus, motivation, slight mood lift.

Have to do bit more reading and make a list so, any comments on strains are appreciated.
