ETC wrote: Dr prepper- Thanks. I'm going to go back and read all this again and order some sample packs from Inland Botanicals and In Sense. Which ones specifically did you consider "good" ? I remember white Hulu, you just mentioned green optima, think red Sumatra was in there ? Was there some "not so good ones" ? Or just "it's meh”

Since i’m more of a white and green fan I can tell you the ones I really liked from In sense were the White Tai, Green Optima, and White Hulu. I really haven’t tried many but of the ones I’ve tried these are the ones i’d reorder.

My problem is that I don’t seem to react or be sensitive to reds. Most reds or slow strains i’ve tried I end up having to take 3 or 4 times a typical dose for me to notice any effect. Greens and Whites I typically dose 2.5-3g, reds I start at 4 and depending on quality will increase from there...

Dr Prepper, I’m also with you in terms of Potency. It is strong but also extremely consistent. After a year of buying based upon their weekly sales (That have dwindled), I have a pretty good collection of all of their strains. Let me know if you ever have any questions regarding a particular strain.

HH has bumped their prices up form 12 to 14, not its $15-$17. So a this point I’ve got a handful of strains coming from Rob and Jeff.

Just wanted to add that I have a leaf that I really love from HH. It’s called Snuggie and I’m wondering if anyone has a Yellow Indo from any other vendor that they really liked?

Mad Max, thank you for all of your reviews as well. Most of my purchases come off the back of your reviews.

So, nothing like magic at In sense so far ?

Reds are more of hit and miss with me so far, not a dose thing just ... Really good Magic and red hot or really bad HH 11. There was another that was decent, horned something, have to look it up.

Btw- for me with HH I dose 3/4-1 1/4 .measured with a scale to get a baseline but, there is variance dip to dip even with the same adjustable measuring spoon. Luckily my tolerance stays low for some reason.

All good info, thanks

Hyper and magic are listed at $17, most others $15. With 10% for echeck that's $15.30 to $13.50. Just checked.

Inland-
Sample of Green Lantern- very energetic, focus and alert. Not enough pain relief for me and I usually do not respond well to blends. Potent just not for me.
Yellow Vietnam-(which is no longer available? might be Yellow Maeng Da now?) Excellent mood boosting. Loved this strain I might order the Yellow Maeng Da soon to see if it compares.

I have favorites at Insense- I am managing pain for spinal arthritis <minor- anxiety and stress<
Red Hulu- day or night
Red Sumatra- sedating side

Green Hulu
Green Thai
Green Riau - all these greens I take for work to help me stay on my feet, managing back pain and have a positive outlook.

I do not do whites.

There might be a few sale codes floating around if you search the forum.

Use the search madmaxnightrider you can find all the reviews :-h

ETC, White Horned and Smiley Horned are solid.

PDO has a Red Malay that is pretty comparable to Magic. If I take too much, I end up asleep on the couch. Great for pain relief.

Livefree- I think the horned I tried was smiley (sample pack) and yes, I do factor in and appreciate the fact that HH does include those. I seem to recall that smiley was definitely a "stay home and veg" strain for me :)

Nan70- I haven't bought any blends but, have tried to make a few with differing outcomes. I don't do it much, I prefer to have a good idea what I'm in for :)

My wife has that same issue, I'll get something for her to try. Thanks for the suggestions.

I love HH and it’s not pricey if you just wait for their sales. When they have a discount on any of their reds, I buy a 4oz bag and it makes me quite happy, otherwise, I patron Botanical Bunny and a recent favorite, smiley time Herbals.

Plathian, Yea I agree. That is the way I do it as well. 4oz usually comes to llike $39.

Thanks for mentioning the other vendors. Do you have any favorites from Smiley or BB? I’ve read a handful of reviews, just curious as to your take.

Yeah, let us know about those as well. I'm looking for a good alternative for when I want something that isn't on sale. I don't always catch the sale emails so, have to wait until what I want comes back on sale. I'm curious what percentage of their business is "sale" items vs regular priced stuff. If sale stuff is a huge percentage, seems like you could make that your regular price and make it up in volume. Of course, the sale gives you an excuse to send out emails and keep your co. In people's minds.
