Hey everybody,

Over the last 7 years this forum has grown exponentially. With your help, We have created a community of Kratom enthusiasts to come together and discuss the industry. The traffic that this site has received has been exciting but also overwhelming. All the while the site grew a little out of date. Over the last few weeks we have updated the platform of the Forum as well as the face of the forum. CHECK OUT THAT NEW LOGO!!! sweet right?!

We could use your help though...

Hi Laurie,

My general rule is to never take any kratom after 10 PM if next day is a workday.

Melatonin. I can take melatonin if I wake too early but have at least four hours until the alarm goes off, and suffer little to no drowsiness the following morning. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. Haven't discovered a short-acting "nap" kratom strain yet. Melatonin is also great when I need help forcing myself to sleep early.

Fortunately my job allows flexible hours and I can arrive to work as early as I want, which I sometimes do if my sleep is cut short. My workday can start between 6 to 9 AM.

Another strategy I use, when possible, is to take a break from coffee on Saturday and Sunday. This lets my body rejuvenate, reset, and helps recharge my sleep bank for the upcoming week. Kratom is a tropical evergreen tree in the coffee family, and this might be one of the reasons I get little tension headaches when I'm overdoing both kratom and coffee. Overdoing both probably affects sleep quality, too.
