I have had the best results for pain with Wild red Bali and yellow Sulawesi but every one is different.
Red Bali made me more sleepy while yellow Sulawesi gave me lots of energy but both were excellent with pain.
Usually within 10-20 minutes if my joints stop aching or feel numb the strain works.
I think if it’s quality kratom then any strain has pain relief properties but some strains do work better and longer.
There are some strains that cause more of a body effect than others but those make me drowsy.
Body chemistry at the time has made strains give me a complete different effect.
I have had red meat change effects, pickled peppers or jalapeños,etc.....
Grapefruit juice, unsweetened,or orange juice is worth trying. Also black coffee before or after can help lessen withdrawals from kratom or kick it off a bit better.
If I’m wanting kratom badly enough a cup of black coffee knocks the edge off.

PS: in my profile photo it’s fog free so I straightened it. Tropical weather is a perennial bad hair day for most of us! Jamaica! Mexico! Hawaii! Fuggedaboudit! If it helps, she will be stoked to have lots of hair still in her mid 50’s ;-)

I battled with my Mom and that curl for most of my life. I’ll have to show you my childhood photos - same nightmare hair. Nobody told me about curling irons until like 9th grade!

I finally found a style I like recently and it’s funny but it works. I put my hair in curls overnight. Then I let them down and the phony curls hold beautifully in all kinds of weather because it’s naturally curly anyway. The way I do it, the curls are more even so I can actually do SOMETHING with it sometimes.

When the big fog banks roll in off the ocean, instead of frizz freak, I roll it up again and have phony curls as soon as I let the hair back down.

I also have a robo vacuum and swiffer the house often and I blow dry outside to cut down on the crazy stuff all over the house!

Great summary on your adventure thus far, Don!

Victorb153, I’m sure Joe at Re-Leaf LLC will kindly send you the best suggestion from his phenotypes. Just ask his advice? Unless you plan to shop around?

Hi everyone! <hug>

yeah only thing I splurge on ( other than supplements of course.. but that's more a need ) is good vegetable plants. edible kids/ grandkids? lol and until we qualify to get reimbursed im paying my moms nurse more than I get paid an hour lol.. not by a lot but still. but it is sooo worth it. shes a nurse in case any of her issues go awry. that in itself is priceless. and she helps with everything!

I hear ya don its 10 here.. pumpkin turning time for me too when I had to be in super duper early. hugs to liz!

michele,
I've worked those kind of hours in my youth (pre 50s) but unfortunately always on salary.:(

I've always been cheap. Except when it comes to my grand kids. :woohoo:

They'll be getting new bikes for their birthdays these next 2 months. :-bd

What!! it's after 9pm and I'm still awake! Good night y'all. :-h
My Grandkids say I’m a cuckoo head. ;)
