Good morning everyone. (waving mildly) You ladies are looking as lovely as you always do. And you gentlemen Muy guapo!! Thank you all very much for the suggestions. I know I need to shift something. I can not continue doing the advil for that deep down bone pain.
How to explain pain dreams? Maybe you've had them but haven't ascribed them to pain. They can be looping dreams that involve an unsolved equation. They can be past experiences of things you've done, pleasurable experiences, but then they turn into situations of being physically hurt. Shot, stabbed etc.... It's nothing like a dream where you are trying to run away from something but you can only move in slow motion. It's pain that is shaping your REM cycle. When you are able to reach REM. It's not pleasant. You are in a situation where, as an example, someone can be taking a sledge hammer to your knees. Or someone is kicking you in the lower back over and over again. Or some unseen thing is taking a knife to your guts and repeatedly slicing you open. I've been stabbed in the lung when I was a younger man. It didn't hurt anything like these pain dreams do. I think my situation is I have a lot of things screaming at the same time in my body. Auto immune, muscular skeletal issues and my lungs. It's all hitting me at once. This happens with the changing of the seasons. I have no idea why. There are so many things from when I was younger that I NEVER want to dream about. But some things show they're ugliness no matter what you do. But there are also some very dear things that I love dreaming about. I will look up lucid dreaming again. But because of certain things I've lived through I've never been able to redirect lucid dreams. All I can do is wake up and try to go to sleep again. It's a damn mess at this particular time but I'm hoping it passes soon. If any of you here have not had "pain dreams" then count yourself blessed. It's an awful thing to be afraid to go to sleep because you are unsure what the night mind may bring to you. And I love to dream. They can be so magical and invigorating when things are working properly. I love to travel in my dreams. I have taken some very wonderful journeys and done some great flying in my dreams! Forgive my rambling. From the bottom of my heart I thank everyone here for your suggestions and input. You are the kindest souls I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Have a wonderful and safe day. Be blessed. Robie

and Epsom salt baths very under rated.
Good Morning! just adding more to the growing list Electrolytes are also often over looked. Kratom is fairly dehydrating and so is the summer heat. Auto immune issues are too pesky. My daughter has lupus and agrees needs to get off treating it with NSAIDs. We are looking into gut health solutions. Easier said than done young busy lady with fatigue and pain issues by the end of the day you have to look forward to putting in the effort. She will get there. I have a post about tendinitis www.ilovekratom.com/forum/health-and-wel...is-of-the-knee#42191 We talked about taking Glocosamine Sulfate versus SAM-e. sometimes when the pain is not managed by the pain herbals or even the pharmaceuticals we need to look into healing the source of the discomfort. Kratom has kept me going and on my feet but when it wears off its like the levee has broke.

I take prescription diclofenic for inflamation in my back. It does a lot more than ibuprophen. It is still an nsaid, so it has some of the same warnings.
It comes in a cream that I also use. I have a friend who swears by the cream because she doesn't want to take the pills. She uses the cream for localized pain in her hands and knees. The brand name is Voltaren. Since using Kratom I have cut down my dosage some. But if I go a couple days without I have serious back issues.

I tried replacing NSAIDs with incarvillea and akuamma yesterday and I concluded that akuamma was the closest thing to helpful, but it’s impossible for akuamma to entirely replace ibuprofen, etc. I used it with naproxen and had good results. Do you also have problems with naproxen? Sometimes just ROTATING these things can really help relieve the STRESS of using one med repeatedly.
So glad I got a lot done yesterday because I’ve been stuck today. (Praying with gratitude) Y’all hang in there. Thanks for the cool tune, Nan70! I can NEVER get too much Zeppelin! Laurie

Had back problems since my early twenties and been on them all, I agree with you on diclofenic but they barely prescribe this one they tend to go to prescription ibuprofen, or naproxen(alleve for over the counter peeps) sometimes Mobic (meloxicam). The best results I ever had from a prescription NSAID was Bextra which was pulled off the market by the F D A How far are we now off topic....?

GOSH Robie...I sure hope you are taking probiotics after those antibiotics. Good bacteria in your gut is ESSENTIAL for health. For anti-inflammatory try Boswellia Serrata - Indian frankinsence. I have to take quite a bit to get results, but I found that it calmed things down quite a lot and I was able to move better. Homeopathic Coffea might be good for helping with sleep - but maybe try one thing at a time? BEV

Ohhh yeahhhh!
Probably the best suggestion YET! I simply don’t have any experience with that one (yet), but I agree with the suggestion. That ibuprofen has been nasty to me the past couple of days and that’s from one 600mg pill per dose, once or twice a day. Naproxen (Aleve) is not as hard on me, but not as effective. Nan70 probably has more suggestions for anti inflammatory LIFESTYLE! Hi Nancy! <3 Laurie

Boswellia Serrata - Indian frankinsence-
I have seriously been considering this one. I like the fact it has 5 days and not two to three weeks kick in time. www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/326067...lQv8qONpLhtASk_RW2pc scroll down to number six. Good morning- off to do the weekend catch up chores. ![]()
