What’s your favorite sleep inducing strain? Is the rule of thumb to take MORE than normal? What about timing?

I’m an “opposite” and only occasionally stumble upon a strain for energy helps me with sleep (white vein). I’m leery of trying them due to potential anxiety.

But lots of people have good results with red strains and higher doses for sleep.

If red strains make you feel relaxed, you’ll be getting some great tips soon.

If they keep you awake like they do me, it’s more difficult and I find it easier to use alternative supplements instead.

HEY SPINSTER!

that's a tricky one. depends on strain, vendor, and person. for me personally almost all reds make me sleepy. typically balis in general do. at least for me. and some mang das. like gold leafs dark red mang da. or either of their chocolate, or a 'bent'.

but natures cure red borneo and thai I can take during the day and be fine. same with soflos chocolate bent ( usually double the chance of sleepy! ) but like I said everyones different. I don't take a bigger dose on red. standard is usually sufficient. but honestly I usually take my 'nighttime' herbals for pain like skullcap from gold leaf.

and trust me, one of the 'fun' things of taking the leaf is don't expect a usual reaction. you can take the same strain with same conditions and your body will react differently. keeps us on our toes!

High Sierra Herbals red MD is a great sleepy / sedating/ relaxing strain that I just tried earlier .... def in cahoots with the sandman or woman ....haha

Also Fused Flora red borneo is a heavy sedating flavor ..

Just two that come to mind cause super recent dabbles with em (L) B-)

I usually take a very large dose (12-14) of Bali red and sleep very very good. But I have a high tolerance also. Find what works best for you, don't be afraid to up the dose if you feel like its good but not quite there.

For sleep Kratom is too unpredictable for me. Sometimes the same strain will relax me and other times energize me. Some people are lucky and can get the same effect each time with the same strain and dose. I'm not on of those people, and I'm sure my case is not uncommon. Therefore, I don't bother taking kratom for sleep. In fact, I no longer dose after 6pm.

Tip: CBD oil has been a blessing for me when it comes to sleep. It's consistently effective each and every time I dose. I never slept better in my life. However, Kratom is still king for me for my depression. Although it's never been consistent.

I usually don't dose after 5 myself. just to try and keep tolerance down. but corydalis, skullcap, and sometimes wild lettuce are my go tos for pm pain relief that helps me sleep.

cbd doesn't make me sleepy its an add to everything else on very ouchie days. cbd lotion with peppermint added to it is great for topical.

My last dose is at 9.... I go to sleep around 12 regardless of kratom or not ....and I sleep great !!!!

Wake up and dose at 7am... and every 4-6 ( mostly 4 hrs ) after that!!!
