Regarding the Red Bentaguie: It helped with maintaining warm, contented, feelings during the evening, and it helped soothe away my aches. It promoted that while also working for a buoyant, upbeat, mood. Lol, it was like an herbal hug.

Best taken when not too tired, as it's not going to lift you up out of feeling fatigued. It would help put you to sleep, but it offers such a nice medley of benefits that you can appreciate throughout the evening I'd say take it after a shower, or with a cup of coffee, caffeinated tea, or some rhodiola.

On its own it offers something of an energy boost, but that's not its strong suit. It does pretty much everything a relaxing red is reputed to do. Pretty strong pain relief, and it's duration was remarkably long. I still felt chill in the morning after taking it the night before.

I still want to review the Super Green Malay I got as a sample, and which I ordered as part of a split kilo. I've really liked it so so far, so much so that I want to sample it once or twice more before weighing in on it. It hits me in a number of ways, so it's tricky to pin down.

I'll add that here if I get to it.

Same here. No two responses are alike. Each try is a different snowflake of benefits. Enjoy!

Red Bentaguie is next up for review, I'll put that in this thread. In it's own way it's trickier to review, due to how it affects me depending on time of day, and if I take it as my last, or earlier, serving of the day. Lots of variables!

Short version: Though I'm struggling a bit to store all my tea in my refrigerator and freezer, and was intending to not buy anything in bulk for a long while, I felt compelled to order this as part of a split kilo. It's that good. Edit: This was after having been given some free samples, which included this.

Longer version: For me it's not a nighttime choice, not unless I'm binging on an especially good TV show, or otherwise willing to give up sleep. :)

When taking this I felt an increase in alertness and a generally more energetic and upbeat mood. That expanded into feeling other positive effects, like a reduction in anxiety, and an increase in a desire to "get 'er done" with whatever is on my to do list. Like posting this review, lol. I still can't pin this tea down, nor do I really want to, as I'm now accepting as part of its fun factor that it works with my body and mind so as help them work the way they should in appreciating life as an adventure. Sort of like how SAMe is supposed to work in regards mood.

So this is a YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) tea, in a good way, and every time you partake. Though it does work within the expected parameters of a fast white tea. What also helps make it a good one is its duration, which tends be long, and without a sharp drop-off.

Though the time I took it at the end of the day, on a lark, I was up all night, and while I slept fine it was just for a few hours, and by that afternoon I had a mild feeling of being spent. Not a hangover feeling at all, but of having "ridden all the rides" and now I needed to chill out.

And that led me to taking Red Bentaguie from Otie's as my first tea of the day, but I'll save my impressions of that for later. Their tea is strong, and it was definitely different taking them out of the kind of order I'm used to (fast one first, slower one at night).

I waited to get the order of taking the herb back to my version of normal before posting this review.

As to pain relief, it's as good as I hoped, and it goes the distance. But my chronic pain isn't all that bad, so I'm not the best judge of that. But what pain I do have also benefits from the relief of inflammation and whatnot, and this is quite good at that, in making me feel comfortable.

P.S. For anyone thinking of ordering stem and vein; by adding it into a split key you end up getting it at an extremely competitive price. I ordered some as the fourth variety in my four way split key.

P.P.S. I experimented with taking half my normal amount so as to get a better handle on its profile, and even so it still delivered a variety of effects.
