brandon,

looking back at your posts yes I guess our reactions were similar! whew... it wasn't just me! im glad im in the 'group' that a red doesn't send me right to bed. but some are a bit more sedating. it did seem almost like a green! I just wanted to give it an unbiased opinion and not peek. I should have lol.. up till almost midnight! lol

babel,

yes I agree with you. quite similar in potency and effect as kratom krates. but to me that one was a touch more sedating. but of course I was taking higher doses. maybe not so with a smaller dose. ill have to check if I still have some, do a side by side. like how im doing with the Sumatra now, which I will post soon!

It reminded me of the Red from Kratom Krates we got as a sample, the one with the eye raising high levels of Kratom's two main alkaloids, that we posted about a while back.

That one took me by surprise, I thought it would be sedating. I then realized why it had sometimes been confusing for me in the past when people spoke of strong Reds. I guess in exchange for some of the more subtle effects that Kratom can offer, you might gain a lot of fire.

Woof! Full disclosure, a couple hours ago I had a desire to have some of this Red Borneo, and I see that I remembered it well. lol :)

Sakti ,
I appreciate your transparency and intentions for practicing safe procedures to ensure we consumers receive a pure and clean product. Happy to have tried your product.

Paul,
much respect and appreciation for you looking out for all of our best interests involving clean products !! Thank you ! Solid advocate for us !

Babel , that red is pretty good , especially important (like you recommended ) to take a lower dose .... good form on explaining the language aspects of terminology... makes sense!

All in all I enjoyed their samples and hope they continue practice the best methods possible and keep bringing quality kratom to the table !

Michele ,
Def a energetic red .. right ?? And very friendly communication for sure , nice to chat with. !
For me the green was def a energetic one for me ... liked the red and green the best of the three but also enjoyed the white pretty well too!

i finally tried all my samples from sakti. most of you know ive been on a full feset this past month. doesn't make that good or bad, I feel it makes me more in tune to what im taking. at a smaller dose than I was before!

sakti is a transparent organic company that as of now carries the colors or borneo. white, green and red. not too specific, relating to region. and not maeng da ( which I like! )

I like now that they are officially forum approved! great quality. limited selection for now but that's ok! if what they do, they do well; leaves a kind of humbleness to them.

white borneo- almost like powder motivation. good octane, not overpowering. I didn't want to move. wanted to be lazy. but I had too much to do. this cured that. great mood boost, almost pulsating energy, like I had a bumble bee in my pants lol..decent pain relief. which I typically don't get from whites.

green borneo- nice mellow energy, great mood lift. made me smile. and just content. great pain relief. I was just happy go lucky!

red borneo- just took about 2 hrs ago. wasn't expecting a mood boost with energy and pain relief. I might have to use this for a daytime strain. that's NOT a bad thing. not working tomorrow no biggie. just don't have the time to ride out the burn. im ready to start a project, but its 10:30 here and im tired lol... ill have some kava tea to mellow me out to go to bed.

this being said, of course im starting my doses at newbie range. im sure larger doses of any of these could change the effects of anybody, including me! I was pleasantly surprised how good the quality was. very respectful communication.

my only 'negative' mark is they state on the site that the reds were matured 4+ months. that just doesn't seem long enough. or at least from the research I have heard. but at the same time, at least they are honest. and if it still works I bet it doesn't matter much!

thank you sakti botanicals for giving us all this opportunity!

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the concern, In all honesty, we just hadn’t quite figured out the best practices yet.

We are a very small company that is still learning the ropes as we grow! Over the last year, 100% of our sales have been in Asheville NC through local stores. When we began, our biggest concern was pesticide contamination due to the HIGHLY disturbing amount that we have seen first-hand in Indonesian Kratom operations. We were proud to be the first local company that was doing any sort of lab testing in our market. As we expand into the world of online sales we are learning a lot and really trying to be as transparent and honest as possible! We genuinely care about our customers and hope to set a higher standard in the Kratom Industry through reputable “third-party verification”. As we head into the future, all of our Kratom will continue to be lab tested for pesticides, heavy metals, and microbial content as we have done with our most recent batch (#102)

The claims regarding our high alkaloid content are based on field research in Indonesia as we searched for the best vendors and learned about the best/most traditional practices. We are currently waiting on the alkaloid % results from our latest batch from wonderland labs.

In the meantime, I will re-word the claim until we have lab results to back it up! I hope this will resolve any confusion.

We are also working on some great blog posts that will dive deep into our research and the truth about Kratom cultivation among the many misconceptions!

Thanks for the great questions, Paul.

I hope we can gain your trust as we continue to learn, grow and improve!

Kind regards,

-Sakti Botanicals

I scanned that QR code. They didn't have the batch tested for potency, so yeah, that indicates the language that should be used in speaking of the alkaloid level. "Acclaimed for its potency" would be a good substitute phrase, imo, or anything else along those lines.

Didn't test for Mycotoxins, but did test for what they claimed was tested.

January 21, 2020, is the date listed.

Edit: Lol, wow, I didn't allow for the fast reply above! :) I agree with what you say. I've got a good feeling that everything will soon be in order with all of that. Here's to Batch 3! :)

Thanks, Babel-17: I didn't look past the first batch test. I should have. Mold and Yeast are a couple things some big vendors are real sticklers on. They should test for those, too, especially in the wet season.

I'm glad their quality is good. Very strong, fresh kratom is a plus.

Thanks for sharing that info.

kemppaulh wrote: Hi:

I've been looking over your Website and have a couple questions. You state that your products are all lab tested, but the only tests I see are for pesticide residues -- of which none are detected. But, what about E.coli, Salmonella, mold, yeast, heavy metals, etc.?

My other question is about your claim: "Our Products have been lab verified with the highest Alkaloid Content on the market." Where are the lab results for that?

Thanks!

www.saktibotanicals.com/lab-test-102

Fwiw, the newly posted test results of Batch 2 show the results for E. coli, Salmonella, and the common heavy metals.

As to the claim of "highest levels", that might be an issue of translating in their head to English. A synonym of "Top" "first rate", or "Grade A", could be thought by them to be "highest".

If they switch to using that nomenclature then they could avoid people wondering how that claim was established. Those kinds of distinctions we naturally know as native speakers, but it could be a different story even for those with excellent English skills.

A quick edit of their home page should fix this up. Their Red MD is really strong though, lol.

I was also curious about that ... good point Paul!

How does one know that they have the highest alk profile out of the lot? I’d like to hear their reasoning.(L)
