I also enjoy the KX for energetic properties and i cannot afford to use KX at bedtime - not nearly relaxing for us “opposites”!

That was my first strain from In Sense back in the day...it’s still an absolute favorite. Iporuru alone gave me a headache - but as part of this blend, it’s synergistically perfect.

Thanks Rob. I'll let you and Michele know how I respond to it, though I know I'll like it. I'll go with Plan A, and try it early one day, and at nighttime the next day.

I'm going to try more of the Gold Leaf Kx shortly, and then head out to the gym. Very interesting, and very potent variety. The extra ingredients (Shilajit and Ipurosa) seem to subtly provide both added energy, and a soothing effect, but different than what Kratom gives. As the Kratom itself is potent the synergy is hard to pin down.

Thanks Babel- 17 and michelle373,

Sorry it took me a bit to see these.... been very busy with things needed to grow.

The Fuzzy Dragon is a blend of Green And White Bentuangies, the pictures are a bit off sometimes....
We may be updating those soon.

The Reds are in our red dragon blends

We will be soon adding a new blend of Gold Bali.

Thanks to Everyone for being a part of today’s solution!

It may well be a mix of Green and White. If you have the time and look at the pictures of the Green, Red, and White, you might think that the Fuzzy Dragon looks a lot like the Red, and not at all like the White.

Maybe mixing Green and White somehow allows for a photo that looks like the Red, or the wrong photo was used, dunno. Lol, but mixing strains isn't exactly like mixing paint, so maybe Rob will see this and can clarify.

And of course there's the "Fuzzy" part of the name. I'd think that a Red would be more associated with that than a White.

Not one review at either In Sense or Gold Leaf, and so maybe I'll be able to correct that. ;) I'll give it a try as a first thing, and last serving, on consecutive days and hopefully I'll see what's what. If Rob stops in and says it has a Red in it I'll go straight to trying it at night.

Have a nice day!

Edit: I enlarged the images in my browser (Right click -View Image), and I see now that the Red and the Fuzzy aren't actually all that similar. But maybe the Red and the Green in combination could produce that color.

im pretty sure rob said its the white and green bent as the fuzzy dragon mix. for months I used it as an end of day strain, but now I use a 'smaller dose' for the daytime and I don't get sleepy. supplement it with akuamma and take another half dose of something else if needed.

if you look at their green bent its very dark. and delicious lol

damn I don't need to get fomo from in sense too. that red paupua sounds yummy too

michele373 wrote: babel.. you are so right. love both red dragons! I just capped the last of my fuzzy dragon wild too..i really enjoy wild red ketapang too..i keep telling myself I wanna try every strain. have come close on blends and red thanks to samples. and a good half or so of green..but theres so many I truly enjoy to stray too far.

rob! even if you had a twin combo of spli kilo.. plantation/ wild..if its something we want I bet price could be negotiated in some way.. even maybe for 'regular' key price..sounds like fun possible marketing!

My sense of adventure won out over my sense of "the cupboard is stocked" and I just now ordered a sampler pack from In Sense. I was also thinking of ordering from Gold Leaf, and still might down the road, but I wanted to try the plantation version of their Kx, I've tried the Gold Leaf version (which deserves a review if I can ever nail down what it's doing), and only In Sense has the Red Papua, which is reported to be a rare strain and not always in stock.

Kratom Variety: Red Papua
Harvested from: Indonesia
Description: Red Papua is believed to be grown and harvested on Papua New Guinea. (Hence the name). Red Papua is usually hard to find. Call the office to see if we have any in stock.

I realized that while I have my excellent Soflo Chocolate Bentaguie, I don't really have much other night time stuff unless I count Gold Bali, which while relaxing is also energizing, and my Red Bentaguie from Otie's.

Not exactly destitute, lol, but I do want a stash with a wider variety.

www.ecosia.org/search?q=Red+Papua+Kratom

The third strain I ordered was the Fuzzy Dragon. Its description isn't clear about which two Bentaguies are in it, and an old thread here implies it's a mix of a green and a white, but the picture of it strongly suggests that there's red in it.

rob,

that sounds like a wonderful idea! you already do the plantation and wild split? looks like an investment from my check soon!

don,

zaps is never a bad thing! especially if liz will have on occasion. between my hubby and I we burn through almost an ounce a day on average. so ounce packs are like samples lol..

rob you are genius on the generator. the golf club I cook for doesn't have one and it bit us in the arse yesterday. power went out in the middle of setting up the food for a wedding. we made it work and thankfully it was daylight and not raining so we fired up the grill outside. gas burners still worked so we poached potatoes and veg candlelight. thank god power came back before it got dark so they could see where they were going! what a poop parade..
